User Manual Safety warnings

WARNING - This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and

persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and

knowledge only if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the

appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with

the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be performed by children without

supervision.

WARNING - Keep the cradle and charging adaptor away from water. The charging cradle supplied

with the SonicCleanPlus is NOT waterproof to the same extent as the device! Do not place the cradle

on a wet surface.

WARNING

1. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and use only as directed in this manual.

Avoid contact with eyes. As with any product, discontinue use if you experience rash, redness

or itching during or after use. Consult a physician if irritation persists. Anyone suering from

acne or any skin disorder should consult physician before using this product. Do not use on

sore or injured areas.

2. Use this appliance only for its intended purpose as described in this user manual.

3. When using with skin care treatments avoid contact with your eyes.

4. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

5. Do not leave the unit on when it is not in use. Store in a safe, dry place.

6. Do not apply extreme pressure when using the unit or when replacing attachments. This could

damage the product. The attachments are delicate and must be attached and removed with

care. Not following operating instructions carefully may result in damage to the SonicCleanPlus

unit and attachments.

7. Never operate the SonicCleanPlus induction charger if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not

working properly, or has been submerged in water.

8. Do not place or store the cradle and charging cord where it can fall or be pulled into a tub, sink,

9. Do not reach for the cradle or charger cord unit that has fallen into water, unplug immediately

before retrieving it. Failure to unplug the device may result in electric shock!

10. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

11. Do not attempt to open the Brush Handle for any reason, it will be irreparably damaged after

doing so.

12. Do not plug into an incorrect voltage source outlet, use only with appropriate voltage (100-

240V AC).

13. Batteries must not be taken apart, thrown into re or short circuited. You should never charge

the batteries with any charger other than the supplied charging cradle.

14. If a battery has leaked, avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. If necessary,

rinse the aected areas with water and seek medical advice.

15. The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.

16. The appliance must be disconnected from the mains power supply before removing the battery.

17. The battery must be disposed of safely.

18. Internal batteries cannot be replaced. To dispose of batteries, the recycling of the entire device

at your local recycling center is good for the environment.

19. The device should only be used with an adapter of the output voltage and power as specied

on the cradle.

Charging

The SonicCleanPlus has been outtted with an induction charger and charging cradle for easy charging.

1. Make sure device is aligned in charging cradle for charging - a red light will blink indicating that

the device is charging. A full charge is indicated by a constant red light.

2. The SonicCleanPlus may show a “constant red” light (indicating full charge) when charged for the

1st time – this is normal since each product is fully checked before shipment. If you’re charging

for the 1st time and the charging light is “blinking red” – still charge the device to get a “full”

charge prior to rst use.

3. IMPORTANT: Make sure device is dry before placing into the cradle for charging. For best results

charge your SonicCleanPlus for 16 hours prior to rst use. On a full charge, the SonicCleanPlus

will provide approximately 2 hours of use in high speed, and 2.5 hours in low speed output. Sim-

ply place SonicCleanPlus into the Cradle, plug the charger cord (adaptor) into any wall socket

and the connector cord into the bottom of the charging cradle (making sure to loop the cord

through the channel on the bottom of the cradle. The SonicCleanPlus features an over charge

protection feature so the device can always be kept in the charging cradle. Silk’n recommends

to unplug and conveniently store the charging adaptor after each full charge until charging is re-

quired. You can leave the SonicCleanPlus in the cradle as a counter top stand when not charging.

Micro-Fiber bristle brush applicators – Attach and remove

To attach a brush head, place the center of the brush head on the matching hexagonal attachment

point located on the device. Press the center of the brush head and push down until it snaps into

place.

To remove the brush head, simply grip the outer plastic base of the brush head rmly in one hand

and the device handle in the other hand and pull up evenly until it snaps loose.

Using SonicCleanPlus facial brush

SonicCleanPlus high frequency vibration cleansing applicator. Use daily to remove the epidermal

(outer) layer of dry and aky skin cells.

With its 4 settings the SonicCleanPlus has an unprecedented versatility - this allows you to clean and

apply cream at your desired setting as well as massage your facial skin to improve blood circulation

(VIBRATING MODE) and improve elasticity (PULSATING MODE):

The SonicCleanPlus hand unit device is water-resistant for use in shower. Do no submerge device in

water or other liquids. When returning unit to the cradle ensure unit is completely dry

How to use

Dampen your face with warm water. Press rmly to the area you want to treat, select mode and

move the SonicCleanPlus in an upward, circular motion. Recommended treatment time per area is 30

seconds for each area - forehead, nose, chin and each cheek. The micro-ber bristle brush applicator

is eective in removing the outer layer of dry and aky skin cells, lifting out impurities from within

the pores and build-up of debris from within the folds of ne lines and wrinkles to help smooth the

surface of the skin.

The SonicCleanPlus has been tested for water ingress to the extent covered by IP-X5. This means you

can clean the device under the running tap or using a damp cloth even when the device is switched

on. However, it is not suited for submerging in water or other liquids.

For use in combination with skin care solutions

Apply cleanser, scrub or microdermabrasion cream onto the skin – spread it into a thin layer over the

skin before use. Press rmly to treated area, select mode and move SonicCleanPlus in an upward,

circular motion. Recommended time per treated area is 30 seconds for each area - forehead, nose,

chin and each cheek.

Caring for your facial brush heads

1. Clean brush heads after every use. Remove the brush head, rinse it clean with warm water and

mild soap to remove any build-up that may have accumulated, shake o excess water and towel

dry – or gently rub the brush head against a towel for 5-10 seconds while it is switched on. Do

not attach wet brush heads to the handle while charging.

2. Do not allow liquid cleansers or moisturizers to accumulate on Brush Heads.

3. Replace brush heads every 3 months for best cleansing results. – they can be purchased from

your retailer or online at silkn.com

Caring for your cradle

1. To clean the cradle, unplug it from the main power rst. Use a slightly damp cloth and avoid

leaking water onto the bottom of the cradle and adapter contact pins. Towel dry the cradle im-

mediately after cleaning.

2. Never use water to clean the adapter hole, adapter plug or any other exposed electrical con-

tact on the device, cradle or adapter supplied with it.

Caring for your brush handle

1. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals to clean any part of the SonicCleanPlus.

2. Clean the handle with a damp cloth – using mild detergent or warm water and towel dry im-

mediately after cleaning.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging at a recycling point which sorts materials by type.

Products marked with this symbol should not be disposed of along with household

refuse! You are legally bound to dispose of old appliances separately from household

refuse. Information about where old appliances can be disposed of free of charge is

available from your local authorities.

Batteries must not be disposed of along with household refuse. You are legally bound

to dispose of all batteries at a local authority collection point or to return them to a bat-

tery retailer.

Internal batteries cannot be replaced. To dispose of batteries, the recycling of the entire device at

your local recycling center is required. This is required by law and good for the environment.

Battery removal

To remove the battery the hand unit of the appliance must be broken apart. The device will no longer

function after this procedure, nor can it be repaired. Any warranty will be void when the appliance

housing is broken and the battery removed. When performing the battery removal procedure we

strongly recommend to wear safety goggles and gloves. Silk’n is not liable for any damages, physical

or material, as a result of performing this procedure.

To remove the battery place the hand unit on a hard, strong surface. Use a hammer to hit the appli-

ance on the seam and continue to do so all along the seam on both sides of the hand unit.

Once the seam is suciently broken, use pliers or a screwdriver to take the housing apart. Unscrew

the PCB and remove the battery by disconnecting the plug from the PCB.

Warranty

This product is covered by a 1 year warranty. Home Skinovations Inc. covers this device within one (1)

year from the date of the original purchase. Claims led after one (1) year from the date of purchase of

the Device by you are not covered. Home Skinovations Inc. may require that you prove the date you

purchased the Device by providing an invoice or receipt that specically lists the date of purchase of

the Device.
