MAINTENANCE and CLEANING
Disconnect the power cord from the power outlet and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
When not used for extended periods of time, place appliance in plastic bag, away from dirt and dust
and store in a cool dry area.
Failure to carry out maintenance and cleaning may cause excessive build up of scale on the heating
element preventing the unit from operating correctly. This may cause a false EMPTY water level warning and
for the RED light to illuminate even when the water tank is full.
Daily Maintenance:
Remove water reservoir from base (d) and rinse it
with warm water thoroughly a couple of times.
Repeat this process every time before refilling the
appliance with water prior to using. Wipe accessible
surfaces of the water reservoir with a soft cloth.
Remove the Aromatic container from the Steam
Chamber (c) (Fig. 6). Using the Heating Cone release (Fig. 7),
release the Steam Chamber (Fig. 8) from the Base.
Wipe the Aromatic container, Steam Chamber and
Removable Heating Cone (Fig. 9) clean with a soft damp cloth.
• Clean the base with a soft damp cloth. Ensure the
heater and heater chamber is cool before wiping dry.
- DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or brushes.
- DO NOT leave water in the Water Reservoir when the
unit is not in use. This may result in bacteria growth in the reservoir.

after that.
•Remove any residual water from the water reservoir. Fill the reservoir with a mixture of 25% vinegar
(950ml) and 75% water (2850ml) and leave for 20 minutes to remove possible mineral deposits. Drain
vinegar water and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Fill the heating chamber (e) with vinegar (50% vinegar / 50% water) and leave it to take effect for 20
minutes. Drain any residual water from the heating chamber and dry with damp soft clean cloth.

water reservoir vigorously every few minutes. Drain and rinse the reservoir with clean water until the
bleach smell is gone.
The Heating Cone, Aromatic container, and Steam Chamber are dishwasher safe.
N.B.: Place on the top shelf of the dishwasher only.
End of Season Maintenance:
Thoroughly follow Weekly Maintenance directions above. Make sure all parts of the humidifier are dry
