These vehicles can be programmed using the
instructions below:
2001-2005 Chevrolet Impala
2001-2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
These vehicles require the use of a professional scan
tool for programming (see your local GM dealer or
ACDelco Professional Service Center):
2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS
This procedure will erase all previously learned transmitters. Therefore,
they must be relearned as additional transmitters.
1. Turn the ignition to ACC or ON. The radio must be off.
2. Press and hold the TUNE or DISP knob on the radio for at least five
seconds until SETTINGS is displayed.
3. Press the SEEK or PSCAN up or down arrows to scroll through
each available feature on your main menu.
4. Press the PREV or NEXT buttons to scroll through the lower menu.
An asterisk (*) will appear next to the item that is the current setting.
5. Scroll, using the SEEK/PSCAN up or down arrows, until FOB
PROG appears on the display.
6. Press the PREV or NEXT button to enter the submenu. BEGIN will
be displayed.
7. Press the TUNE/DISP button to start programming. When the mes-
sage PUSH FOB flashes, press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK
buttons on the first transmitter at the same time for 15 seconds. A
chime will be heard to verify the transmitter is learned.
8. Repeat Step 7 for each additional transmitter.
To exit do the following:
Scroll until EXIT appears on the display.
Press the TUNE/DISP button to exit programming. A chime will be
heard to verify the exit.
