1. Check the filters
Ensure they are clean and properly
positioned (see cleaning instructions).
2. Check that there is rinse aid
and salt
3. Load the dishes
Remove any scraps of food.
Pull the lower basket out and arrange the
saucepans, plates and cutlery in it.
Pull the upper basket out and arrange the
plates, saucers, glasses and cups etc. in it.
Slide the basket back into the machine.
4. Ensure that the spray arms can
rotate freely.
5. Measure out detergent
Add the required amount of detergent into
the dispenser according to the Programme
chart and close the lid.

7. Set the programme
The selection of a programme occurs with
the door partially opened.
Depress the On/Off button. The number “1”
corresponding to the first selectable
programme appears in the display.
Press the programme selector button until
the number corresponding to the required
programme appears in the display. The
pilot light continues to flash until the
programme is started.
The following options may also be
selected:
- “Economy drying” by pressing the relevant
button.
- “Delay start” by pressing the relevant
button until the required number of hours
delay is setted.
8. Start the programme
Close the dishwasher door. An audible
signal of about 1 second advises you that
the programme has started. If a delay start
has been selected, the dishwasher starts
the countdown and the number of hours to
go before the programme starts appears in
the display.
A flashing dot indicates that the function is
active. Once the set delay has elapsed, the
programme starts automatically.
9. At the end of the washing
programme
The dishwasher will automatically stop and
an intermittent audible signal of about 5
seconds informs you that the programme
has finished.
A flashing horizontal line appears in the
display. This signal remains until the
programme selector button is pressed.
Wait until the end of the signal before
opening the door.
10. Switch off the dishwasher
Open the door.
Depress the On/Off button to switch the
dishwasher off.
When the wash programme has
finished, it is recommended that the
dishwasher is unplugged and the water
tap turned off.
In general it is not advisable to open the
door while the machine is working;if the
door is opened however, a safety device
ensures that the machine stops.
Caution
Do not open the door during the hot
phase: this may cause hot water
escape.
Care must be taken if the door is
opened during the hot phase or
immediately after a programme has
finished, as steam may escape.
11. Cancel the wash programme
To change a wash programme in progress
depress the “Cancel/Change programme”
button until the short “instruction accepted”
signal (about 2 seconds) is heard. The
number “1” indicating the first selectable
programme appears in the display and the
programme selector light flashes: the
previous setting has been cancelled and a
new programme can now be selected.
