1. READ INSTRUCTIONS - All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the appliance is operated.

2. RETAIN INSTRUCTIONS - The safety and operating instruction should be retained for future reference.

11. OBJECT and LIQUID ENTRY - Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into

to the electrostatic discharge. Switch off and unplug the set. Reconnect after a few seconds.

13. DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE - The appliance should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:

a. The power-supply cord or plug has been damaged.

b. Objects have fallen into, or liquid has been spilled into the appliance enclosure.

c. The appliance has been exposed to rain.

d. The appliance has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged.

14. SERVICING - The user should not attempt to service the appliance beyond that described in the user operating

instructions. All othe

Notes:

a. Dirty or scratched CD may cause a skipping problem. Clean or replace the CD.

b. If an error display or malfunction occurs, disconncet the AC cord and remove all the batteries. Then turn the power

back on.

BEFORE OPERATION

Notes: CONCERNING COMPACT DISCS.

Since dirty, damaged or warped discs may damage the appliance, care should be taken of the followings items:

a. Usable compact discs. Use only compact disc with the mark shown below.

b. CD compact disc only with digital audio signals.

BATTERY POWER

Insert 6 x “C” size batteries into the battery compartment. Be sure that the batteries are inserted

correctly to avoid damage to the appliance. Always remove the batteries when appliance will not be

used for a long period of time, as this will cause leakage to the batteries and subsequently damage

to your set.

Notes:

- Use batteries of the same type. Never use different types of batteries together.

- To use the appliance with batteries, disconnect the AC power cord from it.

AC POWER

You can power your portable system by plugging the detachable AC power cord into the AC inlet at

the back of the unit and into a wall AC power outlet. Check that the rated voltage of your appliance

matches your local voltage. Make sure that the AC power cord is fully inserted into the appliance.

GENERAL OPERATION

1. Set the “FUNCTION” selector to “RADIO” mode.

2. Select desired band by using the “BAND” selector.

3. Adjust radio frequency to your desired station by using the “TUNING” control.

4. Adjust the “VOLUME” control to the desired level.

FM / FM-STEREO RECEPTION

- Set the “BAND” selector to FM mode for MONO reception.

- Set the “BAND” selector to FM ST. mode for FM STEREO reception. The Stereo indicator light up

to show FM ST. mode.

PLAY / PAUSE / USB Press to start playing CD / MP3 disc.

Press again to stop playing CD / MP3 operation temporarily.

Press again to resume playback.

SKIP + & Press to go to the next track or back to the previous track.

SKIP - Press and hold while playing until you find the point of the sound.

STOP Press to stop all CD / MP3 operation.

PLAYBACK

1. Set the “FUNCTION” selector to “CD / MP3” mode.

2. Open the CD door and place a CD / MP3 disc with the label up in the CD compartment.

3. Close the CD door.

4. Focus search is performed if disc is inside.

For CD disc - Total number of tracks is read and appears on the display.

For MP3 disc - “MP3” appears on the display.

5. Press the “PLAY / PAUSE / USB” button to start playing CD / MP3 disc.

6. Adjust the “VOLUME” control to the desired level.

7. Press the “PLAY / PAUSE / USB” button again when you want to stop playback temporarily.

8. Press the “STOP” button when finished.

Press the “MODE” button before or during playing CD / MP3 disc,

each press switches the mode function as follows:

CD / MP3 OPERATION

PROGRAM

Up to 20 tracks can be programmed for disc play in any order.

Be sure to press the “STOP” button before use.

1. Press the “MODE” button, the display will show “P01” and flash.

2. Select desired track by using the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button. (You may select a desired album

by pressing the “ALBUM” button).

3. Press the “MODE” button again to confirm desired track into the program memory.

4. Repeat step 2 and 3 to enter additional tracks into the program memory.

5. When all the desired tracks have been programmed, press the “PLAY / PAUSE / USB” button to

play the disc in the order you have programmed.

6. Press the “STOP” button twice to terminate programmed playback.

PAUSE Press to stop playing tape operation temporarily.

Press again to resume tape operation.

STOP / EJECT Press to stop tape operations.

Press again to open the cassette door after the tape spools stop turning.

FAST FORWARD & Press to start rapid tape winding either forward or reverse direction.

REWIND

PLAY Press to start playing tape.

RECORD Press it together with “PLAY” button to start recording.

PLAYBACK

1. Set the “FUNCTION” selector to “TAPE” mode.

2. Press the “STOP / EJECT” button to open the cassette door and insert your tape.

3. Close the cassette door.

4. Press the “PLAY” button to start playing tape.

5. Adjust the “VOLUME” control to the desired level.

6. Press the “PAUSE” button when you want to stop playing tape operation temporarily.

7. Press the “STOP / EJECT” button when finished.

RECORDING

1. Press the “STOP / EJECT” button to open the cassette door and insert a blank tape.

2. Select the source you want to record.

To record from radio - Set the “FUNCTION” selector to “RADIO” mode and adjust the desired station.

To record from CD / MP3 - Place a disc on the CD compartment. Set the “FUNCTION” selector to

“CD / MP3 / USB” mode and select the desired track.

To record from USB - Plug or slot in USB device to the port. (Make sure no

disc on disc tray. ) Set the “FUNCTION” selector to “CD / MP3 / USB” mode and select the

desired track.

3. Press the “RECORD” button together with the “PLAY” button to start recording.

4. Press the “STOP / EJECT” button when finished.

PROGRAM, MODE

The operation of PROGRAM, MODE are as the same as that of CD / MP3. Please refer to CD / MP3

OPERATION.

USB OPERATION

Press to start playing tracks from the USB .

Press again to stop playing USB operation temporarily.

Press again to resume playback.

1. Plug or slot in USB device to the port. (Make sure no disc on disc tray)

4. Playback will start automatically from the first track.

5. Press the “STOP” button when finished.

6. Press the “PLAY / PAUSE / USB” button again, playback will start from the first track.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

1. LEA LAS INSTRUCCIONES: antes de utilizar la unidad, deberá leer todas las instrucciones de seguridad y de

funcionamiento.

3. TENGA EN CUENTA LAS ADVERTENCIAS: se deberán tener en cuenta todas las advertencias indicadas en el

aparato y en las instrucciones de funcionamiento.

4. RESPETE LAS INSTRUCCIONES: se deberán respetar todas las instrucciones de funcionamiento.

5. AGUA Y HUMEDAD: la unidad no se debe utilizar cerca del agua, por ejemplo, cerca de una bañera, de un fregadero

NOTAS:

1. Es aconsejable mantener un CD dentro del aparato incluso si éste no está en uso. De esta manera e

vitará la

acumulación de polvo en la lente óptica.

2. CD sucios o arañados pueden reproducirse de manera irregular, sufriendo saltos en la reproducción. Limpie o

reemplace el CD.

3. Si se produce un error en la pantalla o el aparato no funciona correctamente, desconecte el cable AC y quite todas las

pilas. A continuación, conéctelo de nuevo.

NOTAS ACERCA DE LOS DISCOS COMPACTOS ANTES DE SU REPRODUCCION

Ya que discos sucios, dañados o rayados pueden dañar la unidad, debe de tener en cuenta los siguientes puntos:

a. Utilice sólo los discos compactos que contengan su marca de disco.

b. Utilice discos compactos con señales de audio digi

tal.

ALIMENTACIÓN

Introduzca 6 pilas tipo “C” en el

compartimento de pilas.

ALIMENTACIÓN AC

Conecte el adaptador de corriente suministrado a la entrada AC de la parte posterior del aparato y a un

enchufe de corriente. Asegúrese de que el voltaje del producto coincide con el voltaje de su localidad.

Cerciórese de que el alimentador está bien conectado al producto.

ALIMENTACIÓN A PILAS

Introduzca 6 pilas tamaño “C” en el compartimento de pilas. Asegúrese de que la posición de

las pilas sea la correcta para evitar daños a la unidad. Retire siempre las pilas cuando no vaya

a utilizar el aparato durante mucho tiempo.

Notas:

- Utilice pilas del mismo tipo. Nunca mezcle pilas de diferentes tipos.

- Para utilizar el aparato con pilas, desconecte el enchufe de corriente AC.

FUNCIONAMIENTO GENERAL

1. Ponga el selector de “FUNCTION” en la posición “RADIO”

2. Seleccione la banda deseada con el selector “BAND”

3. Sintonice la emisora con el control “TUNING”

4. Ajuste el control “VOLUME” al nivel deseado.

RECEPCION FM/ FM-STEREO

- Ponga el selector “BAND” en la posición FM para recepción MONO.

- Ponga el selector “BAND” en la posición FM ST. para la recepción de la FM STEREO. El

indicador de Stereo se iluminará para indicar que se está en el modo FM ST.

MEJORAR LA RECEPCIÓN

- Reorientar la antena para una mejor recepción

- Reorientar la unidad para una mejor recepción de AM

FUNCIONAMIENTO GENERAL

PLAY / PAUSE / USB Presionar para reproducir un disco CD AUDIO / MP3.

Presionar otra vez para detener la reproducción temporalmente.

Presionar otra vez para reanudar la reproducción.

SKIP + & Presionar para ir a la pista siguiente o anterior.

SKIP - Presionar y mantener presionado durante la reproducción para ir a un

punto de la canción.

STOP Presionar para detener la reproducción

REPRODUCCIÓN

1. Poner el selector “FUNCTION” en el modo “CD / MP3”

2. Abrir la puerta del CD y introducer un disco CD AUDIO/ MP3 en el compartimiento.

3. Cerrar la puerta del CD.

4. Se iniciara la búsqueda del disco.

Para un disco CD audio – El nº total de pistas aparecerá en la pantalla.

Para un disco CD MP3 - “MP3” aparecerá en la pantalla.

5. Pulsar el botón “PLAY / PAU

USB” para reproducir el disco CD.

6. Ajustar el control “VOLUME” al nivel deseado.

7. Pulsar el botón “PLAY / PAUSE / USB” otra vez para parar la reproducción temporalmente.

8. Pulsar el botón “STOP” para detener completamente la reproducción.

PROGRAMACIÓN

Se pueden programar hasta 20 pistas para reproducir en cualquier orden.

Asegúrese de pulsar el botón “STOP” antes de empezar.

1. Pulse el botón “MODE”. La pantalla mostrará “P01” y parpadeará.

2. Seleccionar la pista deseada con los botones “SKIP +” o “SKIP -”. (Puede seleccionar un

álbum determinado mediante el botón “ALBUM”).

3. Pulsar el botón “MODE” para confirmar la pista seleccionada en la memoria de programa.

4. Repetir los pasos 2 y 3 para introducir pistas adicionales en la memoria de programa.

5. Cuando todas las pistas deseadas hayan sido introducidas, pulsar el botón “PLAY / PAUSE /

USB” para reproducir el disco en el orden que se han programado.

6. Pulsar el botón “STOP” para terminar la repr

oducción progra

mada.

Pulsar el botón “MODE” antes o durante la reproducción de un disco CD audio / MP3.

Cada pulsación cambia el modo de reproducción como se muestra a continuación:
