CAUTION
Observe the following to prevent the Robotic Cleaner from falling.
Remove any dirt and wipe away any condensation or other moisture that has adhered to the cliff
sensors.
In locations where the Robotic Cleaner may fall and cause an accident or other hazard, place
objects that are 15 cm (5-7/8") in height or taller and can withstand the impact of the Robotic
Cleaner without moving or tipping over to serve as barriers.
Do not use the Robotic Cleaner in unenclosed high locations such as mezzanines, lofts, or
oors with a direct drop onto stairwells or entranceways, or in locations with an incline of 10° or
more.
CAUTION
Observe the following when using the boundary-sensing feature.
Remove any dirt and wipe away any condensation or other moisture that has adhered to the
boundary sensors located on the bottom of the Robotic Cleaner.

Installing the side brushes Turning the vacuum fan ON/OFF
1. Position the side brush with the groove of the brush  tted to
the shaft head.
2. Secure the side brush using the supplied screw.

If you remove most visible dust, turning OFF the vacuum fan will
save the battery power to extend the operating time of the cleaner.

Operation

Check that the Robotic Cleaner is in standby mode.

The Robotic Cleaner accepts the start operation and then
starts cleaning.
After cleaning has been paused, press the Start/
Stop button on the remote control or the POWER
(start/stop) button on the Robotic Cleaner again to
restart cleaning in the same cruise mode as before
cleaning was paused.

Note: The settings are maintained until the next time they are
changed.

When the battery power becomes low, the Robotic
Cleaner stops in place. Once the Robotic Cleaner has
been stopped for approx. 5 minutes, it automatically
enters sleep mode.
The Robotic Cleaner automatically turns OFF after the
following periods have elapsed.
When using two BL1830s: After approx. 60 hours
When using two BL1850s: After approx. 100 hours
Note: The time until the power turns OFF may differ depending on the
battery status, room temperature, and other factors.
Setting the auto-on start time Cruise mode
Check that the Robotic Cleaner is in standby mode before
setting the start time.

Pattern mode
For cleaning wide spaces with few obstacles.
(Ex.) well-organized warehouses, long corridors, etc.
Cleaning can be performed more efciently by
starting the Robotic Cleaner from a position at the
closer end of the left wall.
Random mode
For cleaning locations with many obstacles.
(Ex.) ofces, etc.
Adjusting the buzzer volume Using the location-beacon feature
Perform the following operation in standby mode to set the
buzzer volume while cleaning.

Press the Location beacon button on the remote control. The
Robotic Cleaners buzzer will beep and the pilot lamp will ash,
helping you to locate the Robotic Cleaner.
Remote control
The buzzer beeps for approx. 10 seconds
and the pilot lamp ashes.
To stop the buzzer and ashing, press the Location beacon
button again.
