help you use it safely and correctly. Please keep this user manual for future reference.
This manual contains safety information, technical specifications of Prestigio Tablet PC,
preinstalled software basic features, setup and other useful information.
The company will not be held liable for damage caused by improper use of the device.
The purpose of this manual is to provide information, and it does not constitute any overt or
covert warranty.

Important Safety Instructions
Your Prestigio PC Tablet is manufactured and designed for mobile usage. Please read the
following instructions carefully:
1. Do not place objects on top of the PC Tablet as objects may scratch the screen.
2. PC Tablet should be kept away from extreme changes of temperature.
3. Protect it from direct sunlight or heat sources.
4. Protect the device from moisture and from dusty or smoky environment as it can harm the
device.
5. Keep your PC tablet away from contact with active chemicals.
6. Do not place the PC Tablet on an uneven or unstable surface. Fall of the device can cause
damage to the LCD screen which is not covered with warranty.
7. Do not expose the PC Tablet to strong magnetic or electrical field.
8. Protect your PC Tablet from hits and extreme pressure.
9. Operation Temperature: This PC Tablet should only be used in environments with ambient
temperatures between 0°C (32°F) and 45°C (113°F).
10. Do not insert into PC Tablet devices or items not matching to standard sockets on it.
11. Keep your device away from any sources of humidity. Do not manipulate your device with
wet hands. Any damage done to the device due to its contact with water voids your warranty.
12. Do not use your PC Tablet while driving.
13. Only use the original power adapter supplied with the device, to charge your product.
Using non-original chargers will void the manufacturer's warranty.
14. Do not use the charger or the battery to power or recharge all or any incompatible devices.
15. The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for any consequences, direct or implied, of
improper use of the power adapter or the battery, or charging or re-charging a device which is

not part of this scope of supply.
16. Do not connect the device to the USB-PD (Power Delivery) charger.
17. The PC Tablet and the adapter may produce some heat during normal operation or
charging. Avoid placing it to the soft surfaces, other places and conditions which may prevent
normal dispersion of the heat, causing device overheating. Do not leave the PC Tablet on your
lap or other part of the body to prevent discomfort or injury from heat exposure.
18. Disconnect the PC Tablet from an electrical outlet after it is charged.
19. Do not use a pen or any sharp object to tap the screen. Clean the touch screen with a soft
cloth. Never use abrasives or cleaning solutions.
20. Do not disassemble the PC Tablet, only a Prestigio certified service technician should
perform repair.
21. Always power off the PC Tablet to install or remove external devices that do not support
hot-plug.
22. Your PC Tablet must be switched off during airplane take-off and landing.

3. Getting started
For more information about Prestigio products, please visit the website
www.prestigio.com/tablets.
For more information about your device, visit the website www.prestigio.com/support.
Do not cover the antenna area with your hands or other objects. This may cause connectivity
problems or drain the battery.
Please read the "Important Safety Instructions" before use.
3.1 Install the SIM card
1. Turn off your device, and then open the SIM cover on the top.
2. Insert the micro SIM into the slot: metal contacts down, cut edge facing in. Press down until it
clicks.
3. Close the SIM card cover
WARNING!
The use of incompatible SIM cards, manually cut SIM card, or SIM card adapters may damage
the cards or the device, and it may corrupt the data stored on the cards.
Scratching or bending of the SIM cards may result in the loss of contacts and information, so
be careful when handling, inserting, or removing the cards.
• Keep the SIM card out of the reach of children.
3.2 Insert a memory card
1. Insert the memory card into the slot with the correct side.
2. Press down until it clicks.
WARNING!
Some memory cards may not be fully compatible with the device. Using an incompatible card
may damage the device or the memory card, or corrupt the data stored in it.
• Frequent writing and erasing of data shortens the lifespan of memory cards.

3.3 Charge the battery
A new battery is partially charged.
1. Plug one end of the USB cable into the micro-USB port of the device, and the other into the
charger.
2. After being fully charged, disconnect the device from the charger. First unplug the charger
from the device, and then unplug it from the electric socket.
WARNING!
Always use authentic accessories to optimise your battery performance. Non-authentic
accessories can damage your battery and even your tablet.
Here are some tips to help you optimise your battery performance:
- always ensure that your tablet profile is appropriately set to meet your actual usage.
- if you are not using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or other applications, turn them off.
- adjust the intensity of your display screen’s backlight to low or medium level and for the
shortest duration.
- avoid using or placing your tablet near magnetic objects (eg. a radio or television) or on metal
surfaces, which will impact the network connection and ultimately drain power from your
battery.
3.4 Power on your tablet
Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to power on your tablet.
After loading the tablet, the Installer Prestigio Wizard will appear on the screen. It offers you
several third-party applications. Tap the apps you want to install on your tablet. Follow the on-
screen instructions to install the apps.
It may take a few minutes for your tablet to install the apps.
To turn off your tablet, press and hold the Power button, and then tap Power off on the pop-
up screen.
Disclaimer!
You can choose not to install the programs Installer Prestigio Wizard suggests on the first boot.
You can launch Installer Prestigio Wizard from the Home screen later to install them later.
3.5 Home screen
Your Home screen is the starting point to access all of your tablet’s features. The Home screen
can have multiple panels. Swipe left or right to view them.
Tap to return to the Home screen. Your tablet’s Home screen consists of the following:

Personalise your wallpaper
Pick your favourite photo as your Home wallpaper. Choose from the available wallpapers, or use
any photo you have taken with the camera.
1. Tap and hold the blank area on the Home screen.
Select one of the following: File Explorer, Galley, Live wallpaper, or Wallpaper.
3. Select an image and tap Set wallpaper. Or, select an image, resize it by dragging the frame,
and then tap OK.
Add an app icon to Home screen
1. On the main screen, swipe up to open the list menu.
2. Tap and hold an application icon.
3. Drag it into a panel preview.
Remove an item on Home screen
1. Tap and hold an item to remove.
2. The Remove option appears at the top of the Home screen.
3 Drag the item to the Remove option.
4. When the option turns red, release the item.
3.6 List menu
On the Home screen, swipe up from bottom to top to open the list menu. The list menu may
consist of several panels.
Swipe left or right to view other panels.
Tap or to return to the Home screen. The list menu of your tablet consists of the
following areas:

4. Basics
4.1 Gesture control
Only use your fingers to use the touch screen.
Tap
To open an application, to select a menu item, to press an on-screen
button, or to enter a character using the on-screen keyboard, tap it with a
finger.
Tap and hold
Tap and hold the item for more than 2 seconds to access extra options.
Swipe
Quickly swipe your finger vertically or horizontally across the screen to go to
other home pages, scroll through documents, and more.
Slide or scroll
Move your finger vertically across the screen to open the drop-down
menu.

Zoom in
Spread two fingers apart on a web page, map, or image to zoom in a part.
Zoom out
Pinch two fingers together on a web page, map, or image to zoom
out a part.
Flick
Flick left or right on the Home screen or the applications screen to see another
panel. Flick up or down to scroll through a web page or a list, such as contacts.
4.2 Notifications panel
When you get a new notification, you can open the notifications panel to see what event
notification or new information you have received.
- To open the notifications panel, slide down from the top of the screen.
- Drag Notifications Panel up to close it.
- To dismiss the notification, tap .
4.3 Quick settings
Quick settings allow you to easily turn on airplane mode, Wi-Fi and other options, and it also
provides a quick shortcut to change the mode, set the brightness, and auto rotation.
Slide down from the top right corner on the screen to open quick settings.

4.4 Status icons
The icons in the status bar at the top of the screen give information about your tablet:

4.5 Connect to your PC
Your tablet’s micro USB port allows you to exchange media and other files with a PC.
Load files from your PC
1. Connect your tablet to the PC with the included USB cable.
2. Open the notification bar, select Connect as Media Device > Media device.
3. Transfer files between your PC and tablet.
4.6 Enabling/disabling screen lock
When not in use, lock your tablet to prevent unwanted operations and save the battery power.
- Lock: press the power button.
- Unlock: press the power button, and then slide the lock icon to unlock your screen.

When your tablet is locked, nothing happens if you touch the screen. Your tablet can still:
- receive calls, text messages, and other updates.
- play music;
- adjust the volume.
You can use the earphones to answer a call or listen to music.
Auto lock
You can set a time span for the screen to be locked automatically.
1. On the list menu, tap Settings > Display > Sleep mode.
2. Select your desired time span for Sleep mode.
Set screen lock pattern
Protect your personal information and prevent others from using your tablet without your
permission by setting a screen lock pattern, PIN, or password. You will be asked to unlock the
screen every time your tablet is powered on or when it is idle for a certain period of time.
On the list menu, tap Settings > Security > Screen lock.
Unlock your tablet
Turn on the screen by pressing the power button, and enter the unlock code.
If you have forgotten your screen lock pattern or code, you have up to five attempts to try and
unlock your tablet. If this fails, take the device to your dealer to reset it.
4.7 Enter text
Change the input method
You can download an input app or use the input method pre-installed on your tablet. To change
the input method, follow these steps:
- In the list of applications, tap Settings > System > Language and Input > Keyboards.
- Choose the desired input method.
Use the Prestigio keyboard
Enter text
- Type UPPERCASE: tap the Shift key before tapping a letter. Or touch and hold the Shift
key , then tap a letter.
- Type lowercase: tap the Shift key again and then tap a letter.
- Enter numbers, symbols or punctuation: tap .
Cut or Copy text
1. Select the text you want to copy, and tap or .

The selected text is copied to the clipboard.
2. In a text entry field, press and hold at the point where you want to paste the text.
3. Tap Paste.
4.8 System upgrade
Your tablet can check and notify you if there is a new upgrade available. You can also
manually check if there is an available update. You can set this option in Settings > About
device > System updates.
WARNING!
Do not press any buttons while the device is upgrading.

5. Web & network
You can connect your tablet to the Internet and browse a web page.
5.1 Connect to the Internet
Your tablet can be connected to the Internet whenever necessary, using a Wi-Fi connection (if
available) or your mobile operator's data connection.
Data connection
You can use your mobile operator's data connection. Pay your attention that some apps and
services may transfer data over your mobile operator's cellular network, which may result in
additional fees. Contact your mobile operator for details.
Turn on or off data connection
1. On the Home screen or list menu, tap .
2. Tap Network and Internet > Mobile Networks > Enable data transfer.
3. Tap to turn on or off data connection.
CAUTION!
If cellular data is off and there is no Wi-Fi available, you will not be able to automatically
receive emails, update social media account information, or sync data.
Turn on or off data roaming
Connect to your mobile operator’s partner networks and access data services when you are out
of your mobile operator’s coverage area.
CAUTION!
Using cellular data in the roaming mode may cost much. Contact your mobile service provider
for details.
1. On the Home screen or list menu, tap .
2. Tap Network and Internet > Mobile Networks > Enable data transfer in roaming.
3. Tap to turn on or off data connection.
Keep track of your data usage
You can control data usage in apps, including viewing pages on the web, syncing accounts,
sending emails, etc.
To help you save on data usage, connect to a Wi-Fi network whenever possible and set
your online accounts and e-mails to sync less frequently.
Caution: data usage measured by your tablet may vary with your actual data usage.
1. On the Home screen or list menu, tap .
2. Tap Data usage.
3. In the Mobile tab, enable data transfer, choose Set limit to disable connection once
the data usage limit is reached.

4. Tap Data usage cycle, you can set a particular time interval to see how much data you have
used.
5. Drag the red line marker to set your monthly data limit.
Wi-Fi
Connect the device to a Wi-Fi network to use the Internet or share media files with other
devices. To use Wi-Fi, you need access to a wireless point or hotspot.
The availability and strength of the Wi-Fi signal will vary depending on the environment, such as
building structure or simply a wall between rooms.
Connect to a wireless network
1. On the Home screen or list menu, tap , then tap Network and Internet > Wi-Fi to
enable the connection.
2. The Wi-Fi section will show the list of networks detected.
3. Tap the desired Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.
4. If you selected a secured network, you will be asked to enter the network key or password.
The next time your tablet connects to a previously accessed wireless network, you
will not be asked to enter the key or other security information again.
Turn on or off Wi-Fi
Follow these steps:
- On quick settings tap WI-FI.
- On the Home screen or list menu, tap , then tap Network and Internet > Wi-Fi, to enable
or disable the connection.
Erase a saved wireless network
Any network that has ever been used, including the current network, can be erased. Your tablet
will not automatically connect to it.
1. On the Home screen or list menu, tap , then tap Network and Internet > Wi-Fi.
2. Tap the wireless network you have previously been connected to.
3. Tap Forget.
Use your tablet as a wireless router
Share your data connection with other devices by turning your tablet into a wireless router.
- Make sure the data connection is turned on.
- You must have an approved data plan associated with your account from your mobile service
provider to use this service.
1. On the Home screen or list menu, tap .
2. Tap Network and Internet > Set up Wi-Fi hotspot.
3. In Set up Wi-Fi hotspot, enter a router name or use the default router name.
4. Choose the type of security and set the password (key) for your wireless router.
- If you selected None in Security, you do not need to enter a password. The password is

the key other people need to enter on their device so they can connect and use your tablet
as a wireless router.
5. Tap to turn on portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
Share your mobile data connection by USB tethering
To enable Internet connection on your PC, you can use your tablet as a hotspot having
connected it to the PC over USB.
1. Connect your tablet to the computer with the included USB cable.
2. On the Home screen or list menu, tap .
3. Make sure that data connection is turned on.
4. Tap Network and Internet > Connections > Mobile Access Points.
5. Tap to turn on USB tethering.
WARNING!
Make sure your SIM card is inserted on your tablet.
You may need access to USB hotspot service (provided by the carrier). Such connections may
increase the cost of carrier services. Contact your mobile service provider for details.
5.2 Browse a web page
You can use your tablet to browse websites. Before browsing a website, please confirm that you
have turn on data connection or Wi-Fi.
Browse a web page
On the Home screen or list menu, tap .
Enter your search keywords or a web page address.
While browsing a web page, you can:
- Tap to go to the previous web page.
- Tap to go to the next web page.
- Tap to reload the current page (while data are being updated, the icon is changed to ).
- Tap to bookmark the current web page.
- Tap to search for information.
- Tap to close the current tab.
- Tap to open a new tab.
- Tap to browse web pages from Bookmarks, History and Saved pages.
Add bookmarks
1. On the Home screen or list menu, tap .
2. Enter your search keywords or a web page address.

3. Browse a web page.
4. Tap .
Download files
You can download files and apps directly from your favourite websites.
WARNING!
Files and apps downloaded from the web can be from unknown sources. To protect your
tablet and personal data, we strongly recommend that you download and open only the
files you trust.
Before you can install the downloaded app, you need to set your tablet to allow
installation of third-party apps in System settings > Security > Unknown sources.
1. On the Home screen or list menu, tap .
2. Go to the desired page.
3. Follow the website's download instructions for apps.
View your downloads
1. On the Home screen, tap .
2. Tap the file to open it.
Browser settings
You can change browser settings for comfortable work. Configure display, privacy, security, and
other settings. For that, tap > Settings on the browser screen.
