The builder warrants all yachts and component parts manufactured by it to be free from defects in material and
workmanship under normal use and circumstances, and the exercise of prudent seamanship, for a period of
twenty four (24) months from the date of commissioning of the original owner. The owner or his representative
must exercise routine maintenance and care.
The warranty of VOLVO PENTA D2-40 engine is twelve (12) months for non-commercial use.
All warranty claims for third party equipment are not the responsibility of the builder and have to be resolved
directly with the equipment manufacturer or its representative. All necessary warranty documents are supplied
with this Owner’s manual see the list on page 20.
This WARRANTY does not apply to defects in surface coatings caused by weathering or normal use and wear.
This WARRANTY does not apply if the yacht has been altered, modified or repaired without the proper written
approval of the builder. Any change to hull structure, deck structure, rig, keel, steering system, power train or
interior layout without the written approval of the builder will void this WARRANTY.
Use of the yacht for commercial purposes may void this WARANTY. However commercial use of the yacht may
be granted with prior written consent of the seller. This WARRANTY may not be transferred or extended to a
second party without the written approval of the builder.
Warranty claims shall be made to the builder within thirty (30) days of the discovery of the defect. The yacht
must be made available for inspection by the builder, or its representative. Upon the approval of a warranty
claim; the builder, at it’s option, may, at it’s expense, repair or replace the defective component, or have it’s
representative repair or replace the component. In all cases, the replacement will be equal in value to the
original component.
The builder will not be responsible for any product liability claims during the warranty period or at any time in
the future after the expiry of the warranty period.
Due to the continuing evolution of the marine market; the builder reserves the right to change the design,
material and construction of its products, without incurring any obligation to incorporate such changes to
products already built or in use.

Premier Composite Technologies
Premier Composite Technologies, although newly established in the U.A.E. have an impressive history in
advanced composite technology. The key figures behind the company have substantial knowledge and
understanding of this high-tech composite industry. Their unparalleled expertise is the result of the experiences
they gained since the eighties in the aerospace and aircraft industry, the automotive industry and the
environmental industry, with a major focus on the use of composites in architecture and building construction,
and in the production of offshore power boats and racing yachts.
PCT’s strong roots in the composite industry stemmed from the German company Speedwave, whose
co-founders are now the major force behind PCT. Speedwave was famed for the composite construction of
specialised components like rudders, keels, spreaders and steering systems for Whitbread/Volvo Around the
World, America’s Cup, Admiral’s Cup and Maxi yachts. Speedwave also embarked on high-tech yachting
projects of the time, with ILC 40 Anemos being one of its successes. Using composite technology,
Speedwave together with SL-Rasch GmbH, completed various innovative dome projects.
Having left their mark in Europe, the team then set the benchmark in composite construction and yacht
manufacturing in South East Asia. In 1997 Dian Kreatif was established in Malaysia. Using Speedwave
technology and technicians, several major dome construction projects were undertaken, together with the
production of racing yachts. Apart from custom builds, DK became one of three licensed builders worldwide for
Farr International, building the Mumm 30, Farr 40, Farr 52, Farr 36 and Farr 520 cruiser-racer.
With their well-deserved reputation in advanced composite technology, the team now spearhead
Premier Composite Technologies in Dubai with a strong commitment to continue their excellence in the
composites manufacturing industry.
Landmark Yachts
The Norwegian based company Landmark Yachts AS specialises in project management and
international sales and marketing. Landmark Yachts is managed by people with extensive yachting experience
which includes multiple Whitbread and Volvo Round the World races as well as serious blue water cruising.
The idea behind the Landmark Yachts concept is to hit the fine balance between racing and
performance cruising without compromising in either area, while keeping the quality up or the cost down.
Focused on meeting the requirements of leading measurement rules, dual purpose capabilities and easy
handling, Landmark Yachts strives to be associated with elegance and quality.
Mills Design
Mills Design Ltd. is a firm set up by Mark Mills to specialise in performance yacht design. Based in
Ireland but also active on the West Coast of the U.S., we specialise in medium/light displacement designs for
racing and cruising. In producing a new yacht, the central philosophy of Mills Design is that of developing and
maintaining a focal design concept, the nature and integrity of which will determine the character of the finished
product. In attempting to hold to a clear design concept we have found that with careful analysis complex
requirements are often best satisfied with simple discrete solutions, simplicity being a key to success in
competitive sailing

This manual has been compiled to help you to operate your craft with safety and pleasure. It contains
details of the craft; the equipment supplied or fitted its systems and information on their operation. Please read
it carefully and familiarise yourself with the craft before using it. This manual should not be perceived as an
exhaustive guide to the vessel.
Boat Seaworthiness & Crew Ability
Regardless of the craft’s seaworthiness and its certified RCD design category, protection from freak sea
and wind conditions cannot be guaranteed. The ability, experience and fitness of the crew, therefore, should be
taken into consideration before making any voyage. As a minimum, ensure that the anticipated wind and sea
conditions will correspond to the design category of your boat and that you and your crew are able to handle the
boat in these conditions. All crew should receive suitable training, particularly with regards to location and
operation of safety equipment. In some countries a driving licence or authorisation are required, or specific
usage regulations are in force. Check before making international voyages.
Maintenance & Repairs
Always use trained and competent people for maintenance, fixing or modifications. Modifications that
may affect the safety characteristics of the craft shall be assessed, executed and documented by competent
people. The boat builder cannot be held responsible for modifications he has not approved.
Please not that any change in the disposition of the masses aboard may significantly affect the stability,
trim and performance of your boat.

The bilge should always be checked after launch. A small amount of water in the bilge is
normal. Large amounts of water or any sign of fuel or oil requires immediate investigation. Never pump
fuel or oil overboard when your boat is in the water. Check function of pumps regularly & clear debris
from their inlets. Check function of pumps regularly & clear debris from their inlets. Ensure all limber

Do not smoke or use open flame when filling with fuel, when working on the fuel system and when in
the engine room. Inspect the fuel system for leakage regularly. Hoses in the fuel system must be inspected
regularly, at least annually, and replaced if any deterioration is found. Inspect pipes at least annually. Replace if
deterioration or openings are found. Never use a flame to check for leaks. If leakage is present, close the fuel
shut-off valve and have the system repaired before further use. System repairs should be made by a competent
person.
Do not allow the fuel pump to run dry.
Filling the Fuel Tanks
Filler caps can be found in the liferaft locker compartment on the deck. Use the following procedure for filling
tanks:
Splash soapy water over the deck-area around the deck fittings before filling. This will prevent spilled
fuel from adhering to the deck surface
Open the tank filler & start filling the tank
Check the contents of the tank by monitoring the tank level indicator
Don’t fill the tank to its maximum: allow for expansion
Close deck fittings tightly, but don’t over-tighten since this will damage the rubber o-rings

The working deck is the area of the boat that is safe for use at all times. Areas outside the
specified working deck should only be used whilst leaving or arriving at a mooring or whilst the boat is not
underway. The working deck area is the area contained by the guardrails.
The guard wires have a limited lifespan. They should be inspected annually for any signs of fraying and replaced
if any damage is found.
In the event of a member of the crew falling overboard they should be recovered using boarding ladder on the
bathing platform.
