Universal Easy Remote 9852 Instructions

Please read carefully before use and retain

for future reference.

Your new remote may automatically work with your TV, if not, please follow these simple steps:

1) Ensure TV is powered on.

2) Press and hold the ‘MUTE’ and CH+ buttons for 5 seconds, the indicator light will turn on.

Release both buttons.

3) Whilst pointing the remote at the TV, press the CH+ button repeatedly until the TV channel

changes.

4) Once the TV channel changes you have reached the correct setting, press the ‘MUTE’ button to

save it.

5) The remote is set for the TV, enjoy using.

If the above fails, the new remote has the ability to learn from your existing remote, to set the

remote this way, follow these steps:

1) Ensure TV is powered on.

2) Find the existing TV remote.

3) Press and hold the CH+ and VOL+ buttons for 5 seconds, the indicator light will turn on. Release

both buttons.

4) Point the remotes at each other, position them about 2-3 inches apart.

5) Press in order the relevant function key on the existing TV remote, i.e. CH+, CH-, VOL+, VOL- and

MUTE, for 2 seconds each, the indicator light on the new remote will flash, press and hold the

corresponding button on the new remote for 2 seconds, the indicator light will flash 3 times,

then remain lit.

6) Repeat step 5 for each function.

7) Once all buttons are programmed, press the CH+ and VOL-, the indicator light will turn off and

the new functions will be saved.

8) The remote is set for the TV, enjoy using.

Note:

If during the learning process no activity is sensed for 25 seconds, the process will stop and you will

need to start from step 1.

Reset to factory default:

1) To reset the new remote press the POWER and MUTE buttons for 3 seconds, the indicator light

will turn on, release both buttons.

2) Press the MUTE button once, the indicator light will go out and the remote will be restored to

its original settings.

Turn on Backlight:

1) Press and hold, MUTE and CH- buttons for 5 seconds, the indicator light will turn on, release the

buttons, the backlight will turn on.

2) Repeat step 1 to turn off.

plastic bags at your local recycling centre.

• Dispose of item at the end of its lifespan at your

local authorised household waste recycling centre
