IRH-281 Two Channel Infrared Headsets

The IRH-281 headsets receive “Hearing Impaired” audio (dialog centric audio at a user adjustable loudness)
and “Audio Description” audio (formerly Visually Impaired Narrative, a description of the movie action to aid
visually impaired individuals). The
infrared signal carries the HI audio
at 2.3 MHz and the AD signal at
2.8 MHz. The IRH-281 is powered
by two AAA batteries.
Batteries
When new batteries are needed, remove the battery cover by pushing the tab up and lifting the cover off.
Install AAA batteries with the + (positive) end as indicated above. Re-install battery cover.

Adjustable Headband
Adjust the headband to the size needed for the individual patron by pulling or pushing the ear pieces.
Controls
Use the ON/OFF switch to turn the unit ON or OFF. Adjust the Hearing Impaired channel (Volume A) and/or
the Audio Descriptionchannel (Volume B) as desired to achieve a comfortable listening level. The IRH-281
allows a blend of HI and AD to be heard with the mix adjusted by the patron. The monitor switch will mute the
sound while the monitor button
is held in. The patron may use
the headset as a receiver by
