PREPARATION OF THE WASH CYCLE
“DOOR OPEN” INDICATION
Beforestartingandafterendofaprogramme,thelamp
lightstoshowthethelidcanbeopened.Aslongasa
washprogrammeisrunning,thelidremainslockedand
mustonnoaccountbeforcedopen.Incaseyouhave
anurgentneedtoopenitduringarunningprogramme,
referto“Cancelarunningprogrammebeforetheend”.
“Eco” button
• Withamodifiedtemperatureprofileandaslightly
prolongedwashingduration,theoptimum
combinationofexcellentwashingresultandeven
lowerenergyconsumptionisachieved.
• Selectable for programmes Cotton 95°C and
Synthetics 60°C.
“Intensive Rinse” button
• Theamountofwaterisincreasedtoensureamore
intensiverinse.
• Thisoptionisparticularlysuitableforareaswithvery
softwater,washingbabylinenandpeoplewithskin
allergies.
“Rinse Hold” button
• Thelaundryremainsinthelastrinsewaterwithout
progressingtothefinalspincycletoavoidcreasing
andpreventcoloursfromchanging.
• Thisoptionisparticularlyrecommendedforthe
“Synthetics”,“Delicates”and“Dailyload”
programmes.
• Itisusefulifyouwanttopostponespinningtoalater

CANCEL A RUNNING PROGRAMME BEFORE
THE END
The“Reset”buttoncancelsaprogrammebeforethe
end.Pressthe“Reset” buttonforatleast3seconds.

opened.
SELECT THE DESIRED OPTION(S)
Selecting or deselecting an option can be done at
any time during the programme. The option will be
applied as long as the corresponding programme
phase has not been executed yet.
“Prewash” button
• Onlyforheavilysoiledloads(forexamplesand,
granulardirt)sensible.Increasesthecycletimeby
approximately20min.
START DELAY
The“Startdelay”buttonallowstheusertorunthe
machineathisconvenience,forexampleatnightwhen
electricityischeaper.
• Selectprogramme,spinspeedandoptions.
• Pressthe“StartDelay”buttonseveraltimesto
selectadelaytimeof1,3,6,9or12hours.
Thecorrespondingindicatorlamplightsup.
• Starttheprogramme(see“ProgremmeStart”).
Theindicationnexttothe“Startdelay”buttonlights
upandgoesoffwhentheprogrammestarts.
• Oncehavingpressedthe“Start/Pause”button,
thecountdownofthetimedelaybegins.Whenthe
programmestarts,thestartdelayindicatorlight
goesoffandisreplacedbytheprogrammesequence
indication.
• Afterthe“Start/Pause”buttonhasbeenpressed,
thenumberofhourspreselectedcanbereducedby
pressingagainthe“Startdelay”button.

orpressthe“Reset”button.
..after having pressed the “Start/Pause” button:
• Pressthe“Reset”buttonforatleast3second.The

Terminate the “Rinse Hold” option:
• Pressthe“Start/Pause”button;theprogramme
willterminateautomaticallywiththefinalspincycle
forthepresentwashprogramme.
• Ifyoudonotwishtospintheclothes,turnthe
programmeselectorknobtothe“Drain”
programmeandpressthe“Start/Pause”button.
“Variable spin” button
• Everyprogrammehasapredefinedspinspeed.
• Pressthebuttontosetanotherspinspeed.
• Ifspinspeed“0”isselected,thefinalspinningis
cancelledbutintermediatespinpeaksremainduring
therinse.Thewaterisdrainedoutonly.
