Standard Cotton 60°C and standard Cotton 40° programmes, suitable to clean normally soiled cotton laundry.
* Most efficient programmes in terms of combined water and energy consumption. Reference programmes for Energy
Label.
Consumption values were measured in normalized conditions in compliance with standard IEC/EN 60 456. Consumption data in the home may vary with respect
to the values in the table in relation to the water supply pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash.Water and energy consumption refer to the
default setting of the programmes; selecting special options or modifying spin speed or temperature will change the consumption data.
** To reduce the water temperature, some cold water is added at the end of the main wash cycle, before the pump drains the water out.
*** The programme durations can differ from the values in the table, as they depend on the operation conditions applicable at that time (see also
“Faults, what to do?” in your Instructions for Use).
Easy ironing
• With this function your laundry will be washed more
gently, maintaining the same performance. To reduce
creasing, the spin speed is lower.
Intensive
• For heavily soiled laundry.
• For programmes Cotton and Synthetics, the active
washing period is prolonged.
• When selecting a temperature from 30 to 60°C, the
wash temperature will be raised by 4°C.
Water Plus
• Increased water level.
• More gentle treatment of the washing.
• Not selectable for Cotton 90°C.
Extra Rinse
• Additional rinse cycles depending on the programme,
prolonged programme duration.
• For particularly sensitive skin or/and in areas with
very soft water.
Rinse hold
For delicate textiles and curtains. The laundry remains
in the last rinse water. The programme stops to “Rinse
hold” when the “Rinse hold” indicator blinks; the
“Start/Pause” indicator also blinks.
• To drain the water and spin the laundry: Press
“Start/Pause” – the washing machine will spin with
the default spin speed for the programme. You can
also select a different spin speed with the “Spin”
button before pressing “Start/Pause”.
• To drain the water without spinning the laundry:
select the “Drain” programme and start it by pressing
“Start/Pause”.
SELECT THE DESIRED OPTION(S)
Selecting or deselecting an option can be done at
any time during the programme. The option will be
applied as long as the corresponding programme
phase has not been executed yet.
Stains
• Choose this option if you use an in-wash additive for
stain removal (powder, for example “Vanish”) - it will
optimize the additive’s efficiency to get better wash
performance and stain removal.
• Choose temperature of 30 or 40°C and use with
maximum load.
• Add an appropriate amount of in-wash additive
for stain removal (powder) to the main wash
chamber, together with your detergent (only use
powder detergent with this option). Respect the
manufacturer’s dosing instructions.
• Prolongs the programme by up to 15 minutes.
• Appropriate for use of stain removers and bleaches
on oxygen basis. Chlorine or perborate bleaches
must not be used!
Prewash
• For heavily soiled washing.
• Pour detergent into dispensers I and II.
Spin
• Every programme has a predefined spin speed.
• Press the button to set another spin speed.
1. Load the machine, close the drum doors and check
that they are properly locked.
2. Add detergent and eventual additives as described on
the front page and in your Instructions for Use.
3. Close the lid.
4. Turn the programme selector to the desired
programme and temperature. The “Start/Pause”
indicator blinks. The indicator of the predefined spin
speed lights up.

appliance is disconnected during the cycle, the
programme will run again from the point where it
was interrupted.

indicator lights to show that the lid can be opened. As
long as a wash programme is running, the lid remains
locked and must on no account be forced open. In case
