• Two people are required to install this product.

• Use an appropriate low voltage power cable to prevent ﬁre or

electrical shock (12V DC only).

• Make sure to install the camera in an area that can support the

camera weight.

• There are no user serviceable parts inside the camera. Please do

not disassemble the camera.

• Do not clean the lens cover with an abrasive cleaning material.

Please use a soft cloth to clean the lens cover.

• Camera is rated for outdoor use (IP67), but is not intended for

submersion in water.

Camera Connections Overview

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant

to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful

interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses,

and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction

manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a

residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the

interference at his own expense.

Inserting the microSD Card (Optional) and

Resetting the Camera

1. Alarm I/O: Connect the camera to up to two alarm input devices

and 1 alarm output device.

2. Audio I/O: Connect to an audio input device, audio output device,

and ground.

3. Ethernet Port: Connect the camera to an NVR or a router or

switch on your network using Cat5e or better Ethernet cable (not

included). PoE+ supported (802.3at). Use the RJ45 cap (included)

for weatherprooﬁng the Ethernet connection.

NOTE: For instructions on weatherprooﬁng the Ethernet

connection, see “Using the RJ45 Cap (Optional)”.

4. 12V DC Power Input: If not using PoE, connect the camera to a 12V

DC power source (3A or higher).

Wall Mount

Safety Chain

Use the included Allen key to attach the M6x14 screw (3×) to the wall

mount. Do not tighten all the way.

Firmly attach the wall mount to the mounting surface using the

included mounting screws (4×) and optional anchors (4×).

Connect the safety chain between

the camera and the wall mount

(Fig 1). This allows the camera to

hang from the wall mount while

connecting the cables.

Connect the connection cable(s)

and then push the cable(s) into

the wall mount. See “Camera

Connections Overview” section for

full details.

Push the camera into the

wall mount with the ﬂat

surfaces aligned on the

inside (Fig 2). This will allow

the M6x14 screw on the

wall mount to align with the

hole on the camera.

Use the included Allen key

to tighten the M6x14 screws

(3×) to secure the camera.

Rubber Ring

Attach the included rubber ring to the back of the wall mount to

ensure the weatherproof rating of the camera.

Use the included wall mount to mark holes for the mounting screws

(4×) and connection cables. Drill holes in the wall where marked.

Pull the connection cable(s) through the mounting surface and wall

mount.

Loosen the service panel screws (4×), but do not remove them (Fig 3).

Remove the service panel cover. The service panel allows you to perform

the following:

• Insert a microSD card into the microSD card slot (Fig 4).

NOTE: For local recording, you can install a microSD card up

to 128GB. SanDisk™ or Kingston™ brand microSD cards are

recommended. microSD card Class 10 or higher required.

• Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds to reset the camera

to default settings (Fig 4).

Using the RJ45 Cap (Optional)

ATTENTION:

The supplied RJ45 cap is weather-

resistant. Seal the cap with silicone

if it will be exposed to precipitation

regularly.

Ethernet connector

Fit the outer seal over your camera’s Ethernet connector and insert the inner

seal into the cap housing.

Run the stripped end of an Ethernet cable through the parts of the RJ45 cap,

as shown above.

Terminate the Ethernet cable with an RJ45 plug, and plug the cable into your

camera’s Ethernet connector.

Screw the cap housing onto the Ethernet

connector.

Screw the cap-sealing nut tightly into

the cap housing.
