INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR N7428-L

For LED Island Lamp

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1)

1 Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box. If

necessary, remove the existing fixture and its mounting

hardware.

2 Carefully remove the new fixture from the carton and check that

all parts are included as shown in the illustration.

3 Please do not remove the packing bag on part (R).

4 Position the mounting plate (E) (Part#A-021-290108B) onto the

ceiling, and mark the location of the two drywall anchors (D).

Pre-drill the holes for the drywall anchors (D) and insert the

drywall anchors (D) into the ceiling

5 Attach the mounting plate (E) to the outlet box with junction box

screws (H) (size:8-32*1/2"L). The side of the mounting plate

marked "GND" must face out.

6 Place the wood screws (F) through the mounting plate and into

the drywall anchors (D).

7 This fixture includes two 6" and six 12" rods. Determine the

desired hanging height and thread rods (M1/M2)

(Part#W30-1-77), (M3) (Part#W30-H-77) to nipple (N). Feed the

fixture wire carefully through each rod. Please remove the

nipple if installing with two 6" rod only.

8 Thread the loop (L) to rod unit snug.

9 Open quick link (K) and connect it to loop (H) and ceiling loop .

Then thread the quick link closed.

10 The support cable is provided to support the weight of the fixture

while wiring. Align the fixture to mounting plate (E) and attach

hook (A) on the end of support cable into a slot located on

mounting plate (E). Carefully allow the support cable to support

the weight of the fixture while wiring.

CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig.2)

11 Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig.2, making sure that

all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet has a ground wire

(green or bare copper), connect the fixture's ground wire to it.

After the wires are connected, tuck them neatly into the outlet

box.

COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION

12 Loosen screws (S) and remove fabric shade (T).

13 Gently align part (R) into the fixture then thread screw (P)

through the center pre-drilled hole and the center hole on part

(R), then secure with hex nuts (Q) tightly. Secure part (R) both

ends to fixture with screws (O).

14 Using screws (S) secure fabric shade (T) to fixture.

15 Align glass (V) to fabric shade (T), and secure with part (B,C,U),

then remove packing bag on part (R).

16 Align canopy (F) to the mounting plate and secure with screws

(E).

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box

and test the fixture.

CAUTION /ATTENTION: When handling the fixture, do not apply

pressure to the LEDs. Hold the fixture by the base only.

Replacing LED module (Fig. 3)

The LED module can be replaced by a qualified electrician without

cutting of wire and without damage to any decorative element to which

the fixture is attached. See installation steps for more details (Fig.3)

Warning: Turn off power at the circuit breaker before replacing

LED module.

a. Loosen part (B,C,U), and remove glass (V).

b. Loosen screws (S) and remove fabric shade (T).

c. Loosen part (P,Q,O) and remove part (R).

d. Loosen screws (01), housing (02), and disconnect wire connector.

e. Loosen screws (11), remove case (15), and slide out diffuser (14).

f. Loose screws (13), remove rubber washers (12) and carefully

remove LED module (16).

g. Loosen screws (04) and remove bracket (W).

h. Loosen hex nut (03), remove nipple (09), stud (10), and slide out

diffuser (08).

i. Loose screws (07), remove rubber washers (06) and carefully

remove LED module (05).

j. Reverse steps a-j for installing the new LED module.

Note: The LED module should be provided by a specified supplier.

IMPORTANT: Fixture should be installed by a qualified electrician to

ensure proper wiring and installation.

Dimmable with ELV and/or LED compatible wall dimmer

switches.
