3. Fit the solution filter (8) to the
pin on the underside of the hood
assembly (1). See fig.7.
4. Fit the hood assembly (1) to the
bucket (5) and secure using the
latches. See fig. 8.
5. When the hood assembly (1)

6. Connect the hose (10) to the
bucket (5) by fitting the threaded
end of the hose (10) into the
hose intake (9) and turn in a
clockwise direction to secure.
See fig. 10.
7. Fit the extension tubes (13) and
other accessories (whichever is
required) to the hose (10). See
fig. 2
8. If you intend using the carpet
shampoo nozzle (21), you will
have to make use of the
shampoo nozzle adaptor (19).
As the flow control unit (18) is
connected to the shampoo
nozzle adaptor (19), it will have
to be fitted to the curved handle
(11). See fig. 14.
9. The shampoo nozzle adaptor
(19) must be attached to the
extension tube (13) see fig. 3
NOTE: The wet tool (20) is fitted
with a rubber squeegee to vacuum
spills while sweeping hard floors.
Remove the rubber squeegee when
the wet tool (20) is used on carpets
or fabrics.
10.The tubing that is attached to the
shampoo nozzle adaptor (19)
and flow control unit (18), can
be secured onto the hose (10)
and extension tubes (13) with
the aid of the hose clamps (17).
When fitting the hose clamps
(17) to the extension tubes (13)
make sure that the pimple on the
hose clamp (17) is seated on
the dimple on the extension
tube (13).
11. Any excess tubing can be
wrapped around the hose (10).
Once the tubing has been
secured to the hose (10), the
metal fitting at the end of the

when operating the vacuum
cleaner as a wet suction cleaner.
If the suction regulator (12) is
open water can be ejected
through it.
14.Once you have completed using
your vacuum cleaner for wet
suction, perform the operation
shown in fig. 16 with the vacuum
cleaner still switched on. This
operation should be performed
carefully alongside a drain for
about 30 seconds to ensure that
all the water is collected in the
bucket (5). You may now empty
the bucket (5) and dry it
thoroughly.
NOTE: If the foam filter (16) is dirty
wash it then dry it. The foam filter
(16) should be changed if it is
damaged. The accessories used
should also be washed and then
dried before being put away.
IMPORTANT. Automatic Shut
Off Valve. When the liquid level
in the bucket (5) exceeds the
safety level the Automatic Shut
Off Valve will operate. This will
cause loss of suction and a
slight change in noise level of
the motor. When this happens,
switch off the power and empty
the bucket (5).

HOW TO CARE FOR
YOUR MACHINE
Filter maintenance:
Remove the cloth filter (4) and
dust it off. (DO NOT BANG IT
AGAINST THE WALL.) This
should be done on a regular
basis. When it becomes clogged
it should be washed in warm
soapy water. Ensure that the
cloth filter (4) is dry before you
refit it to the vacuum cleaner.
Storage:
Before putting your vacuum cleaner
away the following should be done:
Empty the solution tank (22).
Fill the solution tank (22) with
fresh water.
Put the solution tank (22) back
into the bucket (5) and switch
the vacuum cleaner and pump
on. This is to rinse out any
shampoo still in the vacuum
cleaner, then empty any
remaining water in the solution
tank (22).
Empty the bucket (5) of any
waste and allow it to dry
thoroughly.
Wash and dry all the wet nozzles
(15, 20 & 21) extension tubes
(13) and hose (10) before
packing it away.
Wash the foam filter (16) with
soapy water and allow it to dry.
IMPORTANT: Never place your
vacuum cleaner in storage before
performing the above mentioned
steps.
Other machine care:
Never use your vacuum cleaner
without the protective filter in
place. It protects the motor. It is
seated on the underside of the
drive unit. See fig. 30.
When the filter is dirty, it should
be washed with soapy water and
left to dry. Make sure it is
completely dry before
replacing it. If it is damaged it
should be replaced.
Never rest the drive unit as
shown in fig. 31 because if it
falls, the latches can break.
