Instructions
FOR DAB MODE
Press the DAB/FM button to select DAB.
Auto Tuning
Press the AUTO-SCAN button. AUTOTUNE FULL SCAN’ will appear on the
display, and the number of DAB stations will show in the upper right corner.
The radio will automatically play the first station.
Press TUNING+ / TUNING- to choose the next or previous station.
Manual Tuning
Press and hold the ENTER button until ‘MANUAL TUNE’ icon appears in the
display.
Press TUNING+ / TUNING- to select the station you require.
Note: There may be a few seconds delay for the radio to tune into your
desired station.
DAB Radio Pre-sets
To store the desired DAB station, press the MEMORY button. ‘Preset
Empty X’ (X is the current preset number) will appear in the display.
Press MEMORY UP button repeatedly to select the preset number (1-8)
you want to store, then press ENTER to store it.
Repeat the same procedure to store up to 8 presets.
Recall Memory
Press MEMORY UP button to select the preset station required, then press
ENTER to confirm.
OPERATION
Press the Standby button to turn on the unit.

INFO Button DAB Mode
The radio has DAB information modes which are shown on the bottom line
of the LCD display. Short press the INFO key to see the various types of DAB
information you can receive.
1. Program type - Displays the type of station content being broadcast e.g.
Classic, Pop, News etc.
2. Ensemble Freq - Displays the DAB station frequency such as 13F
239.200MHz.
3. Audio Bit Rate - Displays the data rate in kilobytes per second and the
audio mode e.g. stereo.
4. Ensemble name - Displays the name of the multiplex to which the
Digital1 network current station belongs to.
5. Signal strength - Displays the signal strength for the station being
listened to.
6. Time/Date - Displays current time and date, received o-air.
7. DLS (Dynamic Link Segment) - Scrolling text which includes messages
such as Artist and track name, phone numbers, program details, etc.
FOR FM MODE
Press the DAB/FM button to select FM.
Press the AUTO-SCAN button to begin searching for FM stations. When a
station is found, the scanning will stop and playback will start automatically.
If FM reception is poor, press the TUNING+ / TUNING- button repeatedly
to fine tune.
Pre-setting FM stations is the same method as pre-setting DAB stations.

ALARM 1 SETTINGS
1. With the radio switched ON, or in Standby mode, press the ALARM/
SLEEP button until the Alarm1 menu appears.
2. ON / OFF will be flashing to indicate that it can be changed. Press the
TUNING+ / TUNING- button to ON. Then press ENTER to confirm.
3. The hour digits are now flashing. Press the TUNING+ / TUNING-
button to set the required time and short press the ENTER button.
4. The minutes can now be set, as described above. Again short press
the ENTER button to confirm.
5. Selecting the wake up alarm sound. (BEEP1, BEEP2, DAB or FM) is now
flashing. Short press the TUNING+ / TUNING- button to select and
short press ENTER button to save the setting and exit.
INFO Button FM Mode
The radio has six FM information modes which are shown on the bottom
line of the LCD display. Short press the INFO/SETUP button to see the
various types of FM information you can receive.
1. PTY (program type) - Displays the type of station content being
broadcast e.g. Classic, Pop, News, etc.
2. Signal strength - Displays the signal strength for the station being
played.
3. Time and Date - Displays current time and date, received o-air.
4. Station frequency - Displays the frequency of the station being played.
5. Audio mode - Displays the current audio mode setting i.e. Auto (Stereo)
or Mono.
6. Radio Text - Scrolling text which includes messages such as Artist and
track name, phone numbers, program details, etc.

SWITCH OFF ALARM
To switch o the alarm when it activates, press ALARM/SLEEP button or
STANDBY button. The alarm will reset for next day.
The Alarm will switch o automatically after 59 minutes if it is left ringing.
ALARM 2 SETTING
1. With the radio switched ON, or in Standby mode, press the ALARM/
SLEEP button 2 times until the Alarm2 menu appears.
2. Follow the same steps in ALARM 1 settings to set ALARM 2.
TO CANEL THE ALARM SETTING
Press the ALARM/SLEEP button and while the Alarm settings are on the
screen,
press the TUNING+ / TUNING- button to select alarm OFF then press ENTER
to confirm.
USING THE AUX INPUT
The Auxiliary port can be used to connect any device with an Aux-In socket
such as an iPod, iPhone, smartphone or MP3 player.
1. Ensure the radio is switched to OFF.
2. Using the supplied Aux-In cable, Connect one end to the Aux-In port
on the radio and the other end to the Aux-In or headphone socket on
your device.
3. Turn the radio ON, then press STANDBY to ON.
4. Turn on your personal device to begin playing through the radio. You
can adjust the volume to your desired level using the controls on the
radio and on your device.
Note: Once the AUX cable is inserted, FM/DAB is muted but the display will
remain.

SLEEP SETTING
SET THE SLEEP TIMER
1. With the UNIT switched ON and playing press & hold the SLEEP key
until the Sleep Timer appears in the display.
2. The minutes are now flashing. Short press ALARM/SLEEP button to
change the sleep time (15, 30 ,45, 60, 90mins & OFF).
3. Available Sleep time is 15 to 90 minutes, in 15 minutes increments. Set
the required time and short press ENTER to confirm.
4. The display will show the settings sleep time in the upper right corner.
5. The UNIT plays for the selected time and then switches to Standby.
CANCEL SLEEP TIMER
1. With the UNIT switched ON and playing press & hold the SLEEP key
until the Sleep Timer appears in the display.
2. The minutes are now flashing. press ALARM/SLEEP button to change
the Sleep time to OFF.
