Systembeschreibung

System description

Das Patchfeld des Typs CIMP-XL ist aufgrund seiner kompakten und robusten

Bauform ideal für das industrielle Umfeld geeignet. CIMP-XL wird komplett oder

teilbestückt mit Kabelverschraubungen und RJ45 Modulen Cat 6a geliefert.

Das stabile Metallgehäuse ist aus Edelstahl (pulverbeschichtet), verfügt über

einen Clip für 35 mm DIN Schienenmontage und misst nur lediglich

71 x 137 x 126 mm (Breite x Höhe x Tiefe). Optional ist ein Wandmontagekit und

eine Aufnahme für 19“-Racks erhältlich.

The compact and robust design of the CIMP-XL patch panel makes it ideal for

industrial environments. CIMP-XL is supplied completely or partially equipped with

cable glands and RJ45 Cat 6a modules.

The sturdy metal housing is made of stainless steel (powder-coated), has a clip

for 35 mm DIN rail mounting and measures only

71 x 137 x 126 mm (width x height x depth). An optional wall mounting kit and a

mount for 19" racks are available.

Montagehinweise

Mounting

Schritt 1

Öffnen Sie die Verpackung und kontrollieren Sie die Einzelteile:

Gehäuse,

Kabelverschraubungen, M25, M20,

Gegenmuttern, M25, M20,

Mehrfachdichteinsätze,

Kabelbinder,

Schutzstopfen,

RJ45 Module Cat 6a.

Step 1

Please open the packaging and check the following parts:

housing,

cable glands, M25, M20,

Locknuts, M25, M20,

multiple sealing inserts,

cable straps,

protective plug,

RJ45 modules Cat 6a.

Schritt 2

Lösen Sie die vier Linsenflanschkopfschrauben an der Frontplatte.

Ziehen Sie die gesamte Frontplatte aus dem Gehäuse heraus.

Step 2

Loosen the four allen pan head screws on the front panel.

Pull the entire front panel out of the housing.

Schritt 3

Für den Einbau der Kabelverschraubungen

müssen Sie die vorgelaserten Laschen wie

im Bild rechts dargestellt herausbrechen.

Benötigen Sie mehrere Kabeleinführungen,

so drücken Sie auch die anderen

vorgelaserten Öffnungen im Gehäuse

heraus.

Befestigen Sie anschließend die

Kabelverschraubungen im Gehäuse und

führen Sie die Netzwerkkabel durch die

Verschraubungen ein.

Step 3

To install the cable glands, you must

break out the pre-lasered tabs as shown

on the left picture.

If you need several cable entries, press

out the other pre-lasered openings in

the housing as well.

Then fasten the cable glands in the

housing and insert the network cables

through the glands.

Schritt 4

Konfektionieren Sie die RJ45 Module

gemäß der beiliegenden Anleitung und

befestigen Sie den Schirm an der

Zugentlastung. Am Blech der

Zugentlastung ist ein Erdungsfähnchen mit

dem Symbol ⏚ gekennzeichnet. Hier kann

bauseits der Schirm geerdet werden.

Alternativ kann die Erdung am RJ45 Modul

erfolgen.

Step 4

Assemble the RJ45 modules according

to the enclosed instructions and attach

the shield to the strain relief. An

earthing flag with the symbol ⏚ is

marked on the plate of the strain relief.

Here the shield can be earthed on site.

Alternatively, the RJ45 module can be

grounded.

Schritt 5

Legen Sie die konfektionierte Frontplatte in

das Gehäuse und verschrauben Sie die

Bauteile miteinander.

Zur Montage (siehe Bild) rasten Sie bitte

den CIMP-XL an der Oberseite in die DIN

Tragschiene ein, drücken ihn dann gegen

die Federkraft nach unten (1) und

anschließend zur Montageplatte hin (2).

Das System CIMP-XL verriegelt wie im Bild

rechts dargestellt. Überprüfen Sie den

festen Halt des CIMP-XL.

Zur Demontage drücken Sie das Gehäuse

nach unten (überwinden Sie die Federkraft

des Hutschienenclips) ziehen Sie dann die

Unterseite des Geräts zu sich und

entnehmen es aus der Tragschiene.

Achtung: Benutzen Sie nur die passenden

RJ45 Cat 6a Anschlussmodule.

Benutzen Sie die beigefügten Blindstopfen,

um nicht benutzte Öffnungen zu

verschließen.

Achtung: Knicken Sie das Kupfer-Kabel nicht

zu stark und beachten Sie den Biegeradius

des Kabels. Andernfalls kann das Kabel

beschädigt und/oder die Kommunikation

zwischen den angeschlossenen

Endgeräten gestört werden.

Step 5

Place the assembled front panel in the

housing and screw the components

together.

For mounting (see figure in the middle),

please snap the CIMP-XL on the top side

into the DIN rail, then press it down against

the spring force (1) and then towards the

mounting plate (2). The CIMP-XL system

locks as shown in the picture on the right.

Check the CIMP-XL for firm hold.

To remove, press the housing down

(overcome the spring force of the DIN rail

clip), then pull the underside of the device

towards you and remove it from the

mounting rail.

Attention: Only use the appropriate RJ45

Cat 6a connection modules.

Use the enclosed blanking plugs to close

unused openings.

Attention: Do not bend the copper cable too

much and observe the bending radius of

the cable. Otherwise the cable may be

damaged and/or the communication

between the connected terminals may be

disturbed.
