Recycle the nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery
Your Thunder Trucks™ vehicle contains a
nickel metal hydride battery. After recharging
and using your Thunder Truck approximately
300 times, the nickel metal hydride battery
cannot be charged again. Properly recycle
the ENTIRE Thunder Trucks™ vehicle.
NOTE: Nickel metal hydride
battery can be used
approximately 300 times
(recharge and use).
NOTE: If normal function of the product is disturbed or interrupted, strong electro-magnetic interference may be causing the issue. To reset product, turn
it completely off, then turn it back on. If normal operation does not resume, move the product to another location and try again. To ensure normal
performance, change the batteries, as low batteries may not allow full function.

BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION:
• Requires 3 x 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries (not included).
• Batteries are small objects.
• Replacement of batteries must be done by adults.
• Follow the polarity (+/-) diagram in the battery compartment.
• Promptly remove dead batteries from the toy.
• Dispose of used batteries properly.
• Remove batteries for prolonged storage.s
• DO NOT incinerate used batteries.
• DO NOT dispose of batteries in fire, as batteries may explode or leak.
• DO NOT mix old and new batteries or types of batteries (i.e. alkaline/standard).
• DO NOT use rechargeable batteries.
• DO NOT recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• DO NOT short-circuit the supply terminals.
Your Thunder Trucks™ vehicle is equipped with a rechargeable
nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery.
SPECIAL NiMH BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS:
• Never charge battery unattended.
• Charge battery in isolated area. Keep away from flammable materials.
• Do not expose to direct sunlight.
• There is a risk of the batteries exploding, overheating, or igniting. Do not disassemble, modify
heat, or short circuit the batteries. Do not place them in fires or leave them in hot places.
• Do not drop or subject to strong impacts.
• Do not allow the batteries to get wet.
• Only charge the batteries with the specified Spin Master™ battery charger.
• Only use the batteries in the device specified by Spin Master™.
• Carefully read the instruction guide, and use the batteries correctly.
• In the unlikely event of leakage or explosion use sand or a chemical fire extinguisher
for the battery.
• Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly.
Troubleshooting
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The controller/charger was not pointed towards the
Thunder Trucks™.
The power of the Thunder Trucks™ or
controller/charger was running out.
The band of the controller/charger did not
match with the Thunder Trucks™ vehicle.
Infrared signals could not reach the Thunder Trucks™
because the distance was too far or the angle was wrong.
Obstacles appeared between the Thunder Trucks™ and
controller/charger.
The shaft of rear wheel was detached from the chassis.
The vehicle will go into sleep mode if it does not receive a TX
signal or is idle for more than 3 minutes.
Dust or rubbish attached to the tires or the gear.
Playing on carpet or wool cloth surface.
Trim switch not properly adjusted.
Battery is low, causing intermittent movement.
Exposed to direct sunlight.
Affected by infrared transmission from other devices,
e.g., television remote controls.
Using the same band with other Thunder Trucks™
vehicles.
Transmission is weakened due to low battery level. Point the
controller/charger directly at the Thunder Trucks™.
Recharge the Thunder Trucks™. If the problem continues change the
batteries in the controller/charger.
Adjust the controller/charger to the same band as the the
Thunder Trucks™.
Close the distance between the the Thunder Trucks™ and the
controller/charger. Infrared signals can reach up to 4.5 feet (1.5 metres).
Remove the obstacle and close the distance between the Thunder
Trucks™ and the controller/charger.
Reinstall the rear wheel to the chassis.
Slide the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position and then back to the ON
position.
Take out the rear wheel and clean the dust or rubbish.
Play on smooth surface like wooden floor.
Move the trim switch until the vehicle drives in a straight line.
Recharge the the Thunder Trucks™. If the problem continues, change the
batteries in the controller/charger.
Draw the curtains to block the sunlight or play in areas without direct
sunlight.
Do not use other infrared devices when playing.
When using 2 or more of the Thunder Trucks™ together,
set them to different bands.
