Installation
!Beforeplacingyournewapplianceintooperationpleasereadthese
operatinginstructionscarefully.Theycontainimportantinformationfor
safeuse,forinstallationandforcareoftheappliance.

Positioning and connection
Positioning
1. Placetheapplianceinawell-ventilatedhumidity-freeroom.
2. Do not obstruct the rear fan grills. The compressor and
condensergiveoffheatandrequiregoodventilationtooperate
correctlyandsaveenergy.
3. Leaveaspaceofatleast10cmbetweenthetoppartofthe
applianceandanyfurnitureaboveit,andatleast5cmbetween
thesidesandanyfurniture/sidewalls.
4. Ensuretheapplianceisawayfromanysourcesofheat(direct
sunlight,electricstove,etc.).
5. Inordertomaintainthecorrectdistancebetweentheappliance
andthewallbehindit,fitthespacerssuppliedintheinstallation
kit,followingtheinstructionsprovided.
Levelling
1. Installtheapplianceonalevelandrigidfloor.
2. Ifthefloorisnotperfectlyhorizontal,adjusttherefrigeratorby
tighteningorlooseningthefrontfeet.
Electrical connections
Afterthe appliance has been transported,carefully place it
verticallyandwaitat least 3 hoursbeforeconnectingittothe
electricitymains.Beforeinsertingtheplugintotheelectricalsocket
ensurethefollowing:
• Theapplianceisearthedandtheplugiscompliantwiththelaw.
• Thesocketcanwithstandthemaximumpoweroftheappliance,
whichisindicatedonthedataplatelocatedonthebottomleft
sideofthefridge(e.g.150W).
• Thevoltagemustbeintherangebetweenthevaluesindicated
onthedataplatelocatedonthebottomleftside(e.g.220-
240V).
• The socket is compatible with theplug of the appliance. If
thesocketisincompatiblewiththeplug,askanauthorised
techniciantoreplaceit(seeAssistance).Donotuseextension
cordsormultiplesockets.
!Oncetheappliancehasbeeninstalled,thepowersupplycable
andtheelectricalsocketmustbeeasilyaccessible.
!Thecablemustnotbebentorcompressed.
!Thecablemustbecheckedregularlyandreplacedbyauthorised
techniciansonly(seeAssistance).

Start-up and use
Starting the appliance
! Before starting the appliance, follow the installation
instructions (see Installation).
!Beforeconnectingtheappliance,cleanthecompartmentsand
accessorieswellwithlukewarmwaterandbicarbonate.
!Theappliancecomeswithamotorprotectioncontrolsystemwhich
makesthecompressorstartapproximately8 minutesafterbeing
switchedon.Thecompressoralsostartseachtimethepowersupply
iscutoffwhethervoluntarilyorinvoluntarily(blackout).
1. Inserttheplugintothesocketandswitchontheproductusing
theappropriate button, ensure that yellow refrigerator and
freezertemperaturelightsilluminates
2. Afterafewhoursyouwillbeabletoputfoodintherefrigerator.
3. PresstheSUPERFREEZEbutton(rapidfreezing):theSUPER
FREEZEindicatorlightwillilluminate.Oncetherefrigeratorhas
reachedtheoptimaltemperature,theindicatorlightgoesout
andyoucanbeginfoodstorage.
Chiller system
NO FROST
TheNoFrostsystemcirculatescoldaircontinuouslytocollect
humidityandpreventiceandfrostformation.Thesystemmaintains
anoptimal humidity level in thecompartment, preserving the
originalquality of the food, preventingthe food from sticking
togetherand making defrosting a thing ofthe past. Do not
blocktheaerationcellsbyplacingfoodorcontainersnearthe
refrigeratingbackpanel.
!Closebottlesandwrapfoodtightly.
Using the refrigerator to its full potential
• Usethe REFRIGERATOR OPERATION button to adjust the
temperature(seeDescription).
• Press the SPEEDCOOLbutton (rapid cooling) to lower
thetemperature quickly. For example, when you place a
largenumberofnewfooditemsinsideafridgetheinternal
temperaturewillriseslightly.Thefunction quicklycoolsthe
groceries by temporarily reducing the temperature until it
reachestheideallevel.
• Placeonlycoldorlukewarmfoodsinthecompartment,nothot
foods(seePrecautionsandtips).
• Rememberthatcookedfoodsdonotlastlongerthanrawfoods.
• Donot store liquids inopen containers. They willincrease
humidityintherefrigeratorandcausecondensationtoform.
SHELVES:Duetothespecialguidestheshelvesareremovable
andthe height is adjustable, allowingeasy storage of large
containersandfood.
