Do not place in an unstable location
Make sure you always have the unit placed so it is level
and sure to remain stable. Never place it on stands
that could wobble, or on inclined surfaces.

Adults must provide supervision in places where
children are present
When using the unit in locations where children are
present, be careful so no mishandling of the unit can
take place. An adult should always be on hand to
provide supervision and guidance.

Evaluate safety issues before using stands
Make sure to rmly tighten all clamps and bolts after
you have assembled the stand and attached a pad
or unit to it. You should probably also try to make a
habit of checking and retightening them if necessary
before every performance. You risk injury if you have
loose screws or clamps, since a pad or unit can fall
unexpectedly.

Manage cables for safety
Try to prevent cords and cables from becoming
entangled. Also, all cords and cables should be placed
so they are out of the reach of children.

Avoid climbing on top of the unit, or placing heavy
objects on it
Never climb on top of, nor place heavy objects on
the unit.

Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, place it near devices that radiate heat, leave it
inside an enclosed vehicle, or otherwise subject it to temperature extremes. Excessive
heat can deform or discolor the unit.

When moved from one location to another where the temperature and/or humidity
is very dierent, water droplets (condensation) may form inside the unit. Damage or
malfunction may result if you attempt to use the unit in this condition. Therefore, before
using the unit, you must allow it to stand for several hours, until the condensation has
completely evaporated.

Do not allow rubber, vinyl, or similar materials to remain on this unit for long periods of
time. Such objects can discolor or otherwise harmfully aect the nish.

Do not put anything that contains water on this unit. Also, avoid the use of insecticides,
perfumes, alcohol, nail polish, spray cans, etc., near the unit. Swiftly wipe away any liquid
that spills on the unit using a dry, soft cloth.
Maintenance

For everyday cleaning wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth or one that has been slightly
dampened with water. To remove stubborn dirt, use a cloth impregnated with a mild, non-
abrasive detergent. Afterwards, be sure to wipe the unit thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth.

Never use benzine, thinners, alcohol or solvents of any kind, to avoid the possibility of
discoloration and/or deformation.

Use a reasonable amount of care when using the hand knobs, pipes, and mounts. Rough
handling can lead to be damaged.

When you need to transport the unit, package it in the box (including padding) that it
came in, if possible. Otherwise, you will need to use equivalent packaging materials.

Before using this unit, carefully read the sections entitled: “USING THE UNIT SAFELY and “IMPORTANT NOTES. These sections provide
important information concerning the proper operation of the unit. Additionally, in order to feel assured that you have gained a good grasp
of every feature provided by your new unit, Owners manual should be read in its entirety. The manual should be saved and kept on hand as
a convenient reference.
1. Loosen hand knobs A (two locations) and spread open the left
and right legs of the stand as shown in the illustration (Fig. 1).
2. Loosen the hand knob of snare pipe “B, and pull out the snare
pipe in the direction of the place where the drummer sits.
3. Adjust pad mounts C” (four locations) as shown in the
illustration (Fig. 1).
4. Attach cymbal mounts “D” (three locations) as shown in the illustration (Fig. 1).
5. If the stand wobbles, loosen hand knobs “E” (two locations) and adjust the height.
* Do NOT loosen any bolts other than hand knobs except when changing the parts or cables for repairing.
Caution in Setting Up the Stand
• The tip of the mount is sharp. Handle it with care.
• When setting up or storing the stand, be careful not to pinch the ngers you use to handle the stand.
• Regarding the way of mounting a sound module, pads, or cymbals, please refer to the owners manual
supplied with them.
• Do not spread open the stand farther than 135 degrees as shown in the
illustration (Fig. 3).
Nor should you spread the stand wider than 1.3 meters (51-3/16 inches).
• Never pull on any cables with excessive force.
• There are labels on the ends of the connection cables allowing easy
connection to your sound module.
For about connections, refer to the owners manual that came with your
sound module.
The names on the labels correspond to trigger input jack names as follows.

* If the drum stand is to be used for extended periods in the same location, we recommend using a
Roland drum mat (TDM series) to prevent discoloration of ooring by the rubber feet.
