In watching TV program, you can press Option on the
remote control to call out Option menu, where, after you
select and edit the item, the system will display the log-in
interface for channel edition menu. The default password
is 0000.
In this menu, you can conduct the operations below:
1) Lock the channel: Once a channel is locked, when you
switch to this channel, you have to enter the password to
watch the program of that channel.
2) Leap: If the channel is set as „leap”, when you switch
the channels through the up and down keys on the remote
control, the leaped channel will be ignored, and it won’t
switch to channel change.
3) Favorite: To add the select channel to My Favorite.
4) Delete: To delete the selected channel. 12
5) Rename: To rename the selected channel.
6) Exchange: To exchange the channel. Once this items is
selected, the system will reach the exchange menu, where
the current channel is shown in the left box, and you can use
the up and down keys to select a channel to be exchanged
in the right box and press OK to conrm it. Then the channel
goes to the one newly exchanged.
If the machine is connected with peripheral equipment
(such as HDD, USB device), the TV program can be vide-
otaped into that peripheral device. Three options are available
for videotaping the TV program, namely, Real-time videotap-
ing, preset videotaping, preset videotaping in EPG.
In full-screen interface when watching the TV program,
you can press Record on the remote control, or press Option
on it to call out the Option menu, then select the item Record
and press OK. And the current program will be videotaped
in a real-time manner. If you press Record repeatedly within
three seconds, you can set the videotape time by switching
over the time period between 30, 60, 90, 120, 180 and 240
minutes, or set the state as OFF. To stop videotaping, just
press Stop on the remote control.
In watching the TV program, just press EPG or Option on
the remote control to call out the option menu, where you
can select EPG to call out the EPG menu. With EPG menu,
you can use the remote control to select the program to be
videotaped. Then press Record on the remote control to
videotape the program in a preset way.
With timed videotaping, the user can set the videotaping
time and repeat the videotape mode based on his needs.
For that purpose, press Timer on the remote control, or
press Option on it when watching TV
program in full screen state, to call out the option menu.
And select Timer to call out the
Timed Videotape Menu, where you can realize the opera-
tions below: create preset videotape, delete preset vide-
otape, view history, change preset videotape, re-edit preset
videotape, etc.
For this interface, the keys on the remote control can be
dened as follows:
Red key: To create the preset videotape;
Green key: To delete the preset videotape;
Yellow key: To view the preset videotape;
Blue key: To change the state of preset videotape;
OK: To re-edit the selected preset videotape task;
Exit: To exit the timed videotape menu.
With the timed videotape menu, press the red key on
the remote control to call out the setup menu for creating a
preset videotape.
Other operations for this menu:
1) Press the red key on the remote control, you can switch
over different types of preset videotape modes, with details
as follows:
Once: To videotape only one time;
Sunday-Saturday (one week): To videotape the program
at this time each day of the week; Monday-Friday: To vide-
otape the program from Monday to Friday; Sunday and
Saturday: To videotape the program at this time on Sunday
and Saturday; Sunday: To videotape the program at this
time on Sunday;
Monday: To videotape the program at this time on Monday.
You can also set as such that the program is videotaped in
turn from Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday to Friday; Saturday:
To videotape the program at this time every Saturday.
2) With the left and right keys on the remote control,
you can switch over between the source, time and length.
With the up and down keys, you can set the source, time
and length.
