CAROUSEL CHECK :
Luggage arrival alert.
Tap the Carousel-Check icon and turn on the luggage alert, you can get
notified as your luggage comes out on the carousel.
LOST ALERT:
To prevent loss of your valuables, the app sets an audible
alert that beeps when the wireless connection between your phone and
valuables attached to Smart Lock is disconnected or lost for certain
distance*.
* Max 150ft in open area; Range will vary depending on surroundings and
obstructions.
DO NOT DISTURB MODE
You can use the Do-Not-Disturb to prevent your phone from all audible
alerts notifications when quiet time is required. The audible beeping alerts
will be replaced by vibration alerts once it's activated.
TO INSERT THE SMART LOCK MODULE
Enter the correct lock-code > Open the Shackle > Insert the module into
the lock compartment
TO REMOVE THE SMART LOCK MODULE
Enter the correct lock-code > Open the Shackle > Press buckle on both
side to
pull out the module from the compartment.
CHANGING NEW LOCK CODE:
[Note: For first time use - The factory preset lock code is: 0-0-0]
A. Open the shackle (1) then,
B. Use a paper clip or toothpick to press button(2) in with the correct code
entered (factory preset code is 0-0-0). With the button pressed, Change the
digits to you would like it to be set at, e.g. 1-2-3, and release the button(2).
C. Set new code for other digitals,
i.e. repeat step(B).
The lock with new code is now in service.
CHANGING BATTERY:
1. Remove Smart Lock module from Lock body (see above)
2. Lift rear cover to replace battery.
3. Load a new CR2016 cell battery with the positive (flat) side
facing up.
4.Insert the activated Smart Lock module back to the Lock
compartment.
CAMERA MODE:
Remove Smart Lock Module from the Smart Lock. Using the app on your
smartphone activate "Keys” Profile on the lower right side look for . In the
Camera Mode press “Take Picture”
to take pictures wirelessly with your smartphone by pressing from the
Smart Lock Module

Instructions
ACTIVATE YOUR SMART LOCK
1. Pull the plastic tab out of the battery compartment.
2. Download from App Store/ Google Play Store
3. Enable Bluetooth in Phone settings, and launch the app.
4. Select [ ] icon on the starting screen.
5. Follow the instructions to activate your module.
6. Insert the activated module into the lock compartment.
[Open the Shackle and Insert the module into the lock compartment]
PAGE ITEM:
Tap the object icon on the app screen to make Smart Lock light and beep.
Follow the beeps to find the Smart Lock device.
FIND ITEM:
The radar feature gives you a visual image on your phone of the distance
and movement of your item you want to keep track of. The signal bar
indicates how close your item is.
Red(5 bars) means it is almost out of the traceable range.

Yes, you can download the app from Apple & Google play store for free.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Merlin Products are covered by a limited one-year warranty
policy. If the product suffers from a manufacturing defect, the
customer will receive a replacement if claimed within 15 days
of the purchase date. Otherwise, the product will be inspected
for possible repair options. The product will either be repaired
and returned free of charge, or replaced. All repair services past
the one-year warranty period will be charged for any repairs
that need to be made.
If the client is located outside the UAE, or is otherwise unable to
personally deliver the defective product to our service center or
retail outlets, he/she may send it via post at his/her own cost.
The repaired/replaced product will then be returned to the client
via courier mail at Merlin’s cost, as long as the warranty period
is still active.
Important: This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER normal wear
and tear, accidents, damage during transit, misuse, abuse or
neglect. Attempting to disassemble the unit will render the
warranty null and void.
