Before You Start
Please read these instructions carefully before you start installation.
Check the pack and make sure you have all of the parts listed on page 2.

When you are ready to start, make sure that you have the appropriate tools to
hand, plenty of space and a clean dry area for installation.

Check that the supply voltage on the rating label is in accordance with your
electricity supply.

WARNING THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED !
IMPORTANT: If a replacement plug is required, the existing plug may be cut off.
Please dispose of plug carefully and follow the manufacturers instructions when
fitting the new plug.
If the supply cord is damaged, the manufacturer’s service agent or a similarly
qualified person must replace it in order to avoid a hazard.

DO NOT use the unit in the immediate surrounds of a bath, shower or swimming
pool.
DO NOT place clothing or objects immediately in front of the unit. It may cause
overheating or cause objects to ignite.
DO NOT locate or install immediately below a socket outlet.
DO NOT leave children unsupervised near the appliance.
This appliance is fitted with a moulded plug supplied with a 13 Amp fuse. Always
replace the 13 Amp fuse with one approved by ASTA to the current issue of BS
1362. The fuse cover is to be re-fitted after changing the fuse. If the fuse cover is
lost, do not use the plug. Replacement fuse covers may be obtained from a
reputable electrical spare retailer.

Installation
The appliance must be securely fixed to a wall for stability to avoid any risk of
the appliance falling forward.
The mains plug must be accessible after installation.
Ensure adequate space is maintained for the routing of the supply cord.
For appliance dimensions see page 5 – Technical data.
The spinner location pin is sharp care must be taken when placing the
spinner into position and when installing the unit or replacing the lamp.
Lamp; Spinner and Glass Bed Location
 Ensure mains lead is switched off and/or disconnected.
Remove the four panel screws; place the lamp firmly into the lamp holder ensuring
that the pins on the lamp align with the location tabs on the lamp holder; rotate
clockwise until positively located
.
Remove the protective pin cap situated above the lamp holder; place the spinner
onto the location pin ensuring that the spinner turns freely, slide glass bed into
position with the frosted side down and re-fit front cover. Place the decorative
pebbles randomly on the glass bed; alter the stone positions until the desired effect
is achieved.
Trim location
Place each of the magnets onto the location brackets. If applicable remove the
protective film from the trim. Fit the trim ensuring positive location against magnets.
The trim may appear to be warped this is caused by the spot welding process
and is normal; when fitted to the magnets the warp should not be visible.
Important!!!
The appliance is supplied with decorative pebbles some are small; care should be
taken to prevent young children removing the small stones as they are considered a
choking hazard.

Replacing the lamp
Disconnect the appliance from the mains!
Allow the appliance to cool!
Do not use lamps of a higher wattage.
Ensure replacement lamp is 230-240 Volts~
60 Watt, with a B22 bayonet connection.
Ensure that the lamp holder is held securely
when removing or replacing the lamp.
Remove the trim; unscrew and remove Front Panel to gain access to lamp(s).
Push in and rotate anti-clockwise to remove the used lamp (Fig. 1).
Re-fit in reverse order.
Spinner
Ensure spinner is turning freely before replacing the front panel.
Cleaning
For general cleaning, use a soft clean duster or a soft brush.
The decorative trims for this appliance have a protective coating.
Remove from the appliance before cleaning with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
NEVER USE SCOURERS, ABRASIVES OR CHEMICAL CLEANERS.
Before commencing work, turn off appliance and remove plug from socket.
Servicing is only to be carried out by competent/qualified persons.
Replacement of supply cord should only be carried out by the manufacturers
service representative.
DO NOT leave children unsupervised near the appliance.
