New features
This release includes support for use in a wider number of environments.
The features allow you to use the QSX without having to connect to a Polycom conference phone if
you want to share content with web viewers.
This release also improves the interoperability between the QSX and video (specifically VSX8000,
VSX7000e and VSX7000s with Visual Content) as well as with MGC.
Please purchase the QSX 300 or QSX 400 version 2.0. Alternately, you can download the Version
2.0 software from the Polycom website to upgrade an existing unit with Version 1.0 code.
Software Improvements/Bug Fixes
1. No POTS phone required in Stand Alone mode
2. Reset a meeting session with new password by holding Info Button for 4 seconds (if the
QSX is not in Send mode).
3. Bandwidth control down to 128kbps.
4. Preview frame rate up to 20 frames per second (fps).
5. Hold Share Button during boot-up to force the QSX to DHCP mode.
6. No Info Screen popup for joined party.
7. Info Screen display timeout is 2 min.
