With the new 055, better-than-ever camera stability is guaranteed.
Compared with standard leg-locking levers, our new Quick Power Lock
system applies signicantly increased locking power to the leg section
cuffs, making the tripod much stiffer.
Higher locking power doesn’t mean that the leg levers are harder to use,
however… in fact, the QPL system has been designed to allow one-
handed opening of all leg sections on a folded tripod, cutting set-up
time and making operation even more ergonomic.

The Easy Link attachment allows the new 055 to be used as a
portable photographic studio.
An arm with an LED light, a reector, or any other accessory,
can be screwed into the Easy Link tting to take the new 055 far
beyond the boundaries of other tripods’ functionalities.

The new 055 Aluminium 3-section tripod is also available in 2 kits: one in
combination with a ball head, the other with a 3-way head.
The ball head kit matches the 055 with a 498RC2 quick release head,
allowing the camera to be positioned freely and quickly, and to be blocked
solidly in place using the handy single locking knob, so you’re ready to
shoot in an instant.
The 3-way head kit incorporates the brand new XPRO 3 Way Head
(MHXPRO-3W - with quick release camera plate). The XPRO has
retractable levers which make it ultra-compact when closed, and also
features new controls that allow the friction of portrait and tilt movements
to be set, giving more control over framing while the locking knob is open.
