Sanyo ECR 160 is a highly reliable electronic cash register that uses the keyboard presetting system, enabling its universal use whether or not tax is required or different tax rates apply. This device is equipped with a split tendering feature that allows payments to be made using both cash and charge, and a non-add print option for easy identification. This SANYO electronic cash register uses the

This enables its universal use whether

it

initialize the machine according to the installation
procedures to clear the memory and preset the

Used to enter the quantity and amount

To correct the last amount entered on a

Just before the paper runs out, a coloured part will

remind you
that
a new paper roll must
be
inserted.
3. Replacement
of
Ink Ribbon
Remove the ribbon spool from the axis by turning
the spool lever. Insert a new ribbon into the axis
by
turning the spool lever in the same way
as
it
was
removed. Then set the ribbon
as indicated in the
Fig.
9.

4. Suggestions for Operation
(1)
Do
not impede the rotation
of
the drum by
pulling the paper
or
inserting foreign object.
(2) Do not lubricate the machine.
(3) In case
of
trouble, consult your dealer.
(4) Do
not
remove the journal protection cover
during operation.
5.
When the paper jam occurs
Do
not
pull the paper
by
force, or keep depressing
the
[!]key.
Pull the paper forward or backward.
If
one or
more pieces
of
paper remain inside, remove them with
tweezers.
When this
is
impossible by the above method, take
off
platen cover and remove paper with tweezers.
