Information
Purpose
For shirring/gathering light to medium weight, single layer fabrics.
For smooth, balanced fabric feeding of very light, slippery single layer
fabrics.
For sewing puffing strips with overlock-, cover-, chain- or combostitches.
For all overlock-, cover- or combostiches.

Before using this accessory, please read this instruction manual as well as the
instruction manual of your machine carefully.

A Cutting line at cutting width 6
B Right needle for OL (RN)
C Left needle for OL (LN)
D Right coverstitch needle RC
E Center coverstitch needle CC

Application
Shirring
> Thread and set the machine for an overlock-, cover-, chain- or
combostitch.
> For shirring, set the differential feed to 2.
> For increased shirring, increase stitch length to 4.5.
> For easing (gather to fit) of full hems or sleeve caps.
Tip
> To gather fabric while sewing it together with a flat piece of fabric, use the
Gathering Foot.
