UNI-T UT08B is a GFCI receptacle tester that checks for correct wiring in 3-wire electrical receptacles on AC circuits. It provides fast and easy wiring verification, 110V to 125V, and also measures 6 to 9 mA for GFCI. This device is not a comprehensive diagnostic instrument but a simple instrument to detect nearly all probable common improper wiring conditions. It will not detect 2 hot wires in a circuit or a combination of defects. For use on 110V - 125 VAC sockets only. All appliances or equipment on the circuit being tested should be unplugged to help avoid erroneous readings.
