1) Pass xture wire from the socket[P] through the trim ring[Q], and place trim
ring onto the socket, over the hexnut.
2) Pass xture wire through the shade[S], and lower the shade onto the
installed trim ring.
3) Place xture wire through large at washer[R] and place large at washer
onto the installed shade.
4) Pass xture wire from this assembly through a stem[B] and short threaded
tubes[C] and screw stem into assembly.
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as
noted with symbol (4) to prevent accidental rotaon of xture during
cleaning, relamping, etc.
5) Pass xture wire through desired amount of stems and screw stems together
using supplied short threaded tubes.
6) Pass xture wire from last stem through rst loop[D]. Thread rst loop onto
end of last stem.
7) Pass xture wire through second loop[E] and through hole in canopy[J].
8) (If second loop is already aached to canopy, proceed to next step). Pass
threaded pipe at end of second loop through hole in canopy. Pass xture
wire through lockwasher[N] and thread lockwasher onto threaded pipe
protruding from inside canopy. Pass xture wire through hole in hexnut[M]
and thread hexnut onto end of threaded pipe.
9) Aach chain link[F] to small loop at end of stem and to loop on canopy. Close
the open chain link by placing a piece of cloth over the open link and using a pair
of pliers gently squeeze the link closed.
10) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounng strap[G]. Assemble
mounng screws[H] into threaded holes.
11) Aach mounng strap to outlet box[I] using the strap mounng screws[O].
The mounng strap can be adjusted to suit posion of xture.
12) Grounding instrucons: (See Illus. a or b).
a) On xtures where mounng strap is provided with a hole and two raised
dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw,
and thread into hole.
b) On xtures where a cupped washer is provided,aach ground wire from
outlet box under cupped washer and green ground screw, then thread
into mounng strap.
If xture is provided with ground wire, connect xture ground wire to outlet
box ground wire with wire connector aer following the above steps. Never
connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.
13) Make wire connecon. Reference chart below for correct connecons and
wire accordingly.

14) Push xture to ceiling, carefully passing mounng screws through holes in
canopy[J]. NOTE: Be certain wires do not get pinched between canopy and
ceiling.
15) Use knobs[K] and lockwashers[L] to secure canopy. Tighten to secure.
16) Assemble the three (3) light adapter[A] into the boom of the single socket
by rotang into place.
17) Install the recommended bulbs. (Not supplied).

starng and during the installaon.

Code (NEC) and all local code specicaons. If you are not familiar with code
requirements, installaon by a cered electrician is recommended.

• Always be certain that electric current is turned o before cleaning.
• Only a so damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage
the nish.
