BASIC OPERATION
POWER
The Cry Baby Mini 535Q Wah is powered by one 9-volt battery
(remove bottom plate to install), or an AC adapter such as the
Dunlop ECB003/ECB003EU, or the DC Brick
and Iso-Brick
power supplies.
OPERATION
1. Run an instrument cable from your guitar to the CBM535Q’s
INSTRUMENT jack and another instrument cable from the
CBM535Q’s AMPLIFIER jack into your amplifier’s input.
2. Push the toe of the pedal down until you feel a “click” to turn
the pedal on/off.
3. Use the RANGE SELECTOR switch to select one of four
frequency ranges. See RANGE SELECTOR diagram.
4. Rotate the Q knob clockwise for a narrower bandpass to
emphasize higher end harmonics or counterclockwise for a
wider bandpass that emphasizes lower end harmonics.
5. To increase the CBM535Q’s output, engage the BOOST switch
and rotate the VOLUME knob clockwise to increase the amount
of gain, up to +16dB, or counterclockwise to decrease it.
6. Rock your foot back and forth on the pedal to hear the vocal,
expressive tones that the Cry Baby Wah is famous for.
