This Quick Start Guide describes the features, uses, and settings of
the Advent Next Generation Navigation eqquipment. For Sync
operation please refer to your vehicles owners manual.

Touch to enter EQ Settings.
While in the Interface menu the “System Settings” page allows
you to make changes In the Interface only. For Entertainment
system or vehicle settings use the Settings Selection in the main
Radio Menu page.Instructions for those settings are covered in
your factory vehicle Owner's manual.
The OBD function displays data from your vehicles on board
computer. Depending upon your vehicles factory features you
may or may not see this same data displayed in your driver
information center. This data is for reference only and is not meant
to be used as a diagnostic tool. No warning indicators or messages
will be shown, only data as your vehicle is running. Data displayed
may vary based upon your vehicle type.

GPS setting is the secondary setting for mapping software,
including GPS navigation voice, GPS Voice Volume and Map Update.
Quick Start Guide
To Enter into the Next Gen Nav Screens
The Navigaion/Entertainment system works independently of the
SYNC system. All SYNC functions will operate as per the vehicle
owners manual. Several controls will now have dual purposes as
shown below. There are several ways to enter into your navigation
system menus.
Navigation and More
Radio Button When In the Interface Mode When in the OEM Radio Mode
Short press will cycle through
sources / Press and hold to
switch back to the SYNC system.
Short press will cycle through
sources/ Press and hold to switch
back to the NAV system.
Short press will switch to SYNC
system. Long Press will enter EQ.
Short press will switch to NAV.
Long Press will enter EQ.
The EQ setting only effect a device that is connected to the AUX
input through the Media interface. The EQ will have no effect on the
factory radio or other factory Audio sources.
The 10 Band Graphic Equalizer allows you to fine tune the sound of
your music. 2 Preset curves have been added and you can store 2
more curves for easy access.
To save your own curve press User1 or User2 for 2 seconds to save.
The loudness controll will add Bass to your music and adjust
automatically for the volume level. Select On/Off for your prefference.
Navigation
Touch the Navigation Icon to enter the Navigation system. Please
refer to the IGO map quick start guide for user instructions.

System other contains rear camera setting,
, temperature, speedometer display and time format.

Rear Camera Settings: If no
camera is installed this will cancel the
switching to the Camera input. Select
OFF if no camera is installed.
Navigation
The Navigation Path page is used only for maintenance when an
update is done. Use caution: Changing settings here could cause
your Navigation to stop operating. If this screen appears when
starting the navigation application, make sure that Automatically Run
GPS is checked, and then press RUN GPS. This can take up to 1
min. for the Navigation software to re-load. If your GPS does not start
correctly contact customer service for support.
2: Radio buttons - Depending upon your vehicle type, trim level, and
audio system, your radio may or may not have the buttons listed
below.
To exit the Navigation mode you can use the following:

Use the in-map menu and press Minimize to keep the map/route
running and go back to the interface main menu.
2: Press the shortcut buttons (Sound or Source on your radio
controls) to return to the previous menu.
Press Media to return to the Navigation Interface main menu.

Browse:
Browse will allow you to see the files and
contents of the Navigation Memory folder.
Auto: Select To start Navigation
without seeing this menu each
time.
The HDMI input will allow you to view your compatible* smart phone’s screen
or any other device with a HDMI output on your Entertainment Systems
screen while the vehicle is NOT moving. This input does not offer control of
the connected device, only the image and audio are accessible.FMVSS and
Local laws do not allow the viewing of video by a driver or in a position the
driver may view while the vehicle is moving. The system will automatically
black out the screen once the vehicle starts moving but audio will still be
heard.

Once your device is
connected touch the video
button to start viewing.
NOTE: You’re Phone or other device
may require a special adapter to view
HDMI. Contact your Phone dealer for
information regarding these parts, If your
device can be viewed on a TV with
HDMI input then it will be viewable on
your Media system.
AUX input allows the use of any media player with an audio
output.Connect your media player using the appropriate cable and
select AUX to listen to the audio. Control of the media player is not
possible through the interface.
If your vehicle is equipped with video inputs, the video will
only be viewable when the vehicle is NOT in motion.
GPS Voice :
Selects On/Off for Navigation Voice Prompts NOTE: Navigation
Volume is also controlled in the Navigation Mapping Application.
GPS Vol. Level :
Selects the mainsystem Volume for GPS prompts.
Navigation options for voice, language, volume, and more are
accessable in the Navigation Application under the Tools Menu.
Rear Camera Option:
Selects Aftermarket or OEM
Camera Input.
Temp:
Selects Temp
display in F or C.
Speedometer Display:
Changes the OBD Data
display from Miles to
Kilometer's
Time Format: Selects 12
or 24 hour clock display in
the Interface system.

System Update:
Only used when a
