INSTALLATION ADAPTER KIT

FOR SMART-LIFT 236

The SMA-651 installation adapter kit allows you to attach the Smart-Lift (model SL-236) to threaded rods or

cables for suspended ceiling mounting applications.

Unpack carton and check contents:

(4) Bolt, hex head, 3/8 – 16 x 1” (1) Rear Adapter

(4) Nut, Nylock, 3/8-16 (1) Front Adapter

(8) Washer

CAUTION!!! The overhead support must be capable of supporting five times the

combined weight of the lift and all equipment. If it cannot, it MUST be reinforced.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Make sure Smart-Lift is fully closed. Remove

bottom panel of Smart-Lift.

2. Insert four 3/18-16 x 1” bolts and washers in holes

in top of Smart-Lift (see Figure).

3. Secure two hanging rod adapters to the Smart-Lift

using four Nylock nuts and washers as shown in

the Figure below.

4. Reinstall bottom panel.
