Intended use of the device
The device is designed exclusively for trimming nose hair, in the ears
of persons, to the extent determined by technical and operational
parameters and functions, safety and user instructions, and external
influences of the operating environment.
ORAVA electrical appliances are manufactured according to state-of-the-
art knowledge and recognized safety regulations. Nevertheless, improper

Electrical safety
• Class III electrical devices are devices that are powered by a low-voltage
power supply (battery or accumulator) and do not present a hazard to the
user in terms of electric shock.

Safety of persons
This device is intended for use and operation by non-electrically qualified
persons, in accordance with the manufacturer‘s instructions.
• Operations of the device include operations such as turning the device on
and off, user handling and operating parameter settings, visual or auditory
control of the device, and user cleaning and maintenance.
This device may be used by children from 8 years of age and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience or
knowledge if they are supervised or have received instructions regarding
the safe use of the device and understand the dangers involved.
• Children must not play with the device.
• Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be performed by children
without supervision.
Cleaning, maintenance and repair
• Perform routine user cleaning and maintenance of the device only as
recommended. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners for cleaning.

Operation/Use
Caution!
The device is only intended for operation with
replaceable batteries that can be replaced by the
user and whose type is specified in the technical
information of the operating instructions.
This product may only be used with original and
undamaged parts and accessories.
The suitability and correct use of the individual
trimmer heads is specified in the “Operation”
section.
The hair and mustache treatment device has
been designed to allow gentle trimming of hairs
from the skin of the nose and ear openings and/
or the contours of the beard, chin or hair of
persons.
Caution!
• Do not insert the nose and ear hair trimmer
deeper than 0.5 cm, as you may be injured.
• Do not use the hair clipper in close proximity to
your eyes. Careless handling can cause serious
injury.
The device is designed for personal use and
personal hygiene. In view of this, it is not
recommended that the trimmer heads of the
device are used by different persons. Always
clean the device thoroughly after each use.
• Do not use or place the device in a place where
children can reach freely.

• Do not allow children to play with the device.
• Mechanical damage (rupture or breakage
of parts and covers) of the device can cause
serious injury. Do not use damaged equipment
and accessories. Risk of serious injury!
• Do not use the device to trim the hair and hair
of animals. There is a risk of transmission of

• Always make sure that the trimmer head is
correctly assembled before turning on the device.
• Always turn on the device before inserting the
trimming head into the nose or ear, or place a flat

• Keep the device dry. Do not use or place the
device near containers containing water. Should
the device fall into water, take it to a specialist
workshop for inspection.
• Never overload the device beyond the limits
specified in the technical data!

(operating time / operation and pause) according
to the operating and use instructions. Clean the
device regularly. Contamination of the equipment
can result in reduced operating parameters and
possible consequential irreversible damage.
• Never put this part / component out of operation
if any safety part / component (mechanical,
electrical) is included! Do not use the device
if the safety part / component is damaged or
malfunctioning!
• Never underestimate possible dangers and be
careful!!!

Cleaning the device and its accessories, intended for body care.
The use of device intended for body care also implies the need for regular
and thorough cleaning of these equipment and its accessories.
This paragraph lists contain important basic procedures for cleaning the
device and its accessories intended for the body care and treatment of
parts of the human body in reuse.
Warning!
• Do not allow other persons to use the device for the care of the human
body, especially the device intended for personal hygiene, resp. personal
use.
When using and cleaning equipment to treat parts of the human body,
follow the procedure and instructions below:
- Always check the device for damage, proper functioning and proper
hygiene before each use.
- After each use of the device, wipe all parts and surfaces of the device and
its accessories that have been soiled thoroughly e.g. In a dry paper towel
and cutter blades clean with the enclosed brush - coarse dry cleaning.
- In the event of “wet contamination”, disconnect the attachment to be used
from the body and apply a suitable cleaning agent. Thoroughly clean the
handpiece surfaces by hand or with a soft brush (by applying adequate
pressure to soiled areas and parts).
- After cleaning, rinse the attachment thoroughly under running, clean and
warm water.
- Wipe all parts and accessories dry or allow to dry thoroughly.
• Proper and thorough cleaning of accessories for human body care
equipment is an important prerequisite for keeping these parts in
acceptable hygienic condition and longest service life.

Preparation before use
Make sure the device is clean and functional.
This model works with a 2.4 V/60 mAh Li-ion battery.
1. Remove the head cover (6).
4. Switch the device on with the ON/OFF switch (3).
Hair cutting
Trimming the hairs in the ear
• Use the round head (1).
Turn the device on and carefully insert it into
the outside of your ear.
• Carefully move the trimmer around the hair
area.
Trimming nose hair
• Use the round head (1).
Turn on the device and carefully insert it into
your nose.
To remove hair, move the device in small
circles.

After cutting, cleaning
After operation, turn the cutter off
with the ON/OFF switch (3).
Take off the round head (1) by turning
it to the left and pulling it upwards.
Clean the round head and cutter blades from the hair with the
supplied brush or rinse under running water.
After cleaning, slide the round head onto the device body, rotate
clockwise until the head clicks.
Warning!
Clean the device after each use.
Never clean the device in water or any other liquid for cleaning. Only
the head and cutting knives can be washed under water.

Fast charging
Connect the device using the supplied USB charging cable (7) to a
computer or to a phone charger (5 V, 500 mAh).
The charging indicator (4) lights up. Charging for short use takes
approximately 10 seconds.
It takes about 5 minutes to fully charge the device. After that you can
use the device for about 20 minutes.
After charging the device, disconnect the charging cable from the AC
adapter or the computer.
