ThisModularAirHandlerprovidestheflexibilityforinstallationinany
Upfloworhorizontalapplication,.Thedirectdrivemotors
provideaselectionofairvolumetomatchanyapplication.

Theunitcanbepositionedforbottomreturnairintheupflowposition,
leftreturninthehorizontalposition.
TopandsidepowerwiringandcontrolWiring,accessiblescrewtermi-
nalsforcontrolwiringallcombinetomaketheinstallationeasy,and
minimizeinstallationcost.
NOTE: Whenthecoilisinstalledinadraw-thruapplication,itisre-
commendedtotraptheprimaryandsecondarydrainline.If
thesecondarydrainlineisnotused,itmustbecapped.
Thecoilisprovidedwithasecondarydrain,ttshouldbepipedtoa
locationthatwillgivetheoccupantavisualwarningthattheprimary
drainisclogged.Ifthesecondarydrainisnotuseditmustbecapped.

edfornon-ducted(freeblow)applications.
Ductworkshouldbefabricatedandinstalledinaccordancewithlocal
and/ornationalcodes.
Ventabsorptionofmoisturefromthesurroundingairintotheinsulation.
Thesupplyairductshouldbeproperlysizedbyuseofatransitionto

ORIFICEINSTALLATION
Astandardorificeispreinstalledintheunitandismarkedonthe
unitdataplate.Refertotheoutdoorunitinstructionandapplica-
tiondatatodeterminetheproperorificerequiredforyourparti-
cularsystemcombinationandpipingconditions.
Iftheorificesizesmatch,nothingfurtherisrequiredandtherefri-
gerantlinesmaybeconnectedpertheoutdoorunitinstruction.
However,ifanotherorificeshouldbeused,changetheorificein
thecoilwiththefollowingprocedure:
Thisfittingisaright-handthread,turncounter-clockwiseto
remove.
1.Removetheliquidlinefittingusing3/4"wrenches,andremo-
vethepreinstalledorificewithasmalldiameterwireorpaper
clip.
2.Removetheneworificefromthepacketandverifythatitis
thecorrectnumberrequired.Installthisorificewiththeroun-
dedendtowardthecoilandtheflatendoutward.
3.Threadtheliquidlinefittingbackinplaceonthecoil.Tighten
thefittinghandtightandturnanadditionalI/8turntoseal.

4.Markthedataplatewiththeorificeinstalled.
CAUTION
1.Theairfiltercanpreventthedustorotherparticulatefromgoingins-
ide.Incaseofblockageofthefilter,theworkingefficiencyoftheair
conditionermaygreatlydecrease.Therefore,thefiltermustbeclea-
nedoncetwoweeksduringlongtimeusage.
2.Iftheairconditionerispositionedinadustplace,thecleaningfrequ-
encyoftheairfiltermustbeincreased.
3.Iftheaccumulateddustistooheavytobecleaned,pleasereplace
thefilterwithanewone(replaceableairfilterisanoptionalfitting).
