ingmaycommence.
STEAM-IRONING
•Asindicatedonthetemperaturecontroldial
andthetemperaturetable,steamironingisonly
possibleathigherironingtemperature.
•Ensurethatthereisenoughwaterinthewater
tank.
•Standtheironupright.
•Inserttheplugintothewallsocket.
•Setthetemperaturecontroldialtothesteam
position.
•Waitalittlewhileforthepowerindicationlightto
switchoffandtocomeonagain.
•Setthedry/steamselectorknobtothesteam
position.Thesteamwillemergefromtheventsin
thesoleplatewhentheironisheldinthehorizon-
talposition.
CARE AND CLEANING
• Before cleaning the iron, ensure it is discon-
nectedfromthepowersupplyandhascompletely
cooleddown.
•Depositsandotherresiduesonthesoleplate
canberemovedwitharoughclothsoakedina
vinegar/watersolution.
•Thehousing/bodymaybewipedwithadamp
clothandthenpolishedwithadryone.
•Donotuseabrasivesonthesoleplate.
•Keepthesoleplatesmooth:avoidhardcontact
withmetalobjects.
•NOTE:Ironingdirtyfabricorfabricnotrinsed
fullywillresultintheironstickinganddirt
accumulatingonthebottomofthesoleplate,as
willanironsetattoohighatemperatureforthe
relevantfabric.
STORAGE
•Turnthetemperaturecontroldialto“MIN”and
setthesteamselectordialtoposition“0”.
(“0”=NoSteam).
•Disconnecttheplugfromthewallsocket.
•Pouranyremainingwateroutofthewatertank.
Thencoverthellercap.
•Standtheironuprightandletitcooldown
completely.
•Thepowercordcanbewrapedaroundtheiron
whenithascooleddown.
•Alwaysstoretheironinanuprightposition.
