2A IGNITION
FirstignitionmustbecarriedoutbypersonnelfromtheTechnicalAssistance
Service.Atthesametime,ifitisnecessarytoputtheapplianceinservice
again,carefullyfollowthedescribedoperations.
Tostart-uptheboileritisnecessarytocarryoutthefollowingoperations:
- power the boiler
- openthegastappresentinthesystemtoallowfuelow
- setthemodeselector(1)tosummer(referencenotchon symbol)
orwinter(referencenotchongraduatedzone)dependingontheseason

Adjustambientthermostattodesiredtemperature(approximately20°C)
Adjustment of the heating water temperature (1)
Withchangesinoutsidetemperatureitmaybenecessarytoincreaseor
lowerthetemperatureoftheheatingwaterbyre-adjustingtheselectorof
the boiler heating water temperature.
Turn clockwise to increase water temperature and anti-clockwise to lower it.
Adjustment of domestic hot water temperature (2)
Thehotwatertemperaturecanbechangedbyturningthehotwaterther-
mostat clockwise to increase the temperature and anti-clockwise to lower it.
Pre-heating (fasterhotwater):rotatethedomestichotwatertemperature
adjustmentknob(2-g.3)tothesymbol , to activate the pre-heating
function. This function keeps the water in the domestic hot water exchanger
hot,toreducestandbytimeswhenarequestismade.Whenthepre-heating
functionisenabled,theyellowLED(1)isON.Themonitor(5-g.9)in-
dicatesthedeliverytemperatureoftheheatingwaterorthedomestichot
water, according to the current request. During burner ignition following a
pre-heating request, the monitor indicates the symbol.Todeactivatethe
pre-heatingfunction,rotatethedomestichotwatertemperatureadjustment
knob back to the symbol.TheyellowLEDwillswitchoff.Bringthedome-
stichotwatertemperatureadjustmentknobbacktotherequiredposition.
ThisfunctioncannotbeactivatedwhentheboilerisOFF:functionselector
onOFF(g.4).
CTR Function
Bysettingtheheatingwatertemperatureselectorinthezonemarkedbythe
symbolsinboldtype,theCTRself-adjustingsystemisactivated(frequency
0.1sec.on;0.1sec.off;duration0.5):accordingtothetemperatureseton
theambientthermostatandthetimeemployedtoreachit,theboilervaries
automaticallytheheatingwatertemperaturereducingtheoperatingtime,
allowinggreatoperationcomfortandenergysaving.
Onthecontrolpanel,thegreenledasheswithfrequency0.5secondon,
3.5secondsoff.Theboilerisstandbystatusuntil,afteraheatrequest,the
burnerswitchesonandtheindicatorturnsxedgreentoindicateame
presence.Theboilerwillbeinfunctionuntiltheadjustedtemperatureis
reached,afterwardsitwillbein“stand-by”again.Iffaultsariseinignition
oroperations,theboilerperformsa“SAFETYSTOP”:onthecontrolpanel,
the green indicator will switch off and the boiler lockout red indicator will
switchon(seechapterlightsignalsandfaults).
Reset function
To restore operation set the mode selector to (g.4),wait5-6seconds
and then take the mode selector to the desired position checking that the
redindicatorlightisoff.Atthispointtheboilerwillautomaticallystartand
the red lamp switches on in green.
N.B. If the attempt to reset the appliance does not activate operation, contact
the Technical Assistance Service.
3A SWITCHING OFF
Temporary switching off
In case of absence for short periods of time, set the mode selector to
OFF(g.4).Anti-frostdeviceremainsactive.
Long period switching off
In case of absence for long periods of time, set the mode selector to
OFF(g.4).Then,closethegastappresentonthesystem.Inthiscase,
anti-frost device is deactivated:emptythesystems,incaseofriskoffrost

Make sure at beginning of heating period and during use that the water
pressure gauge indicates the pressure values with cold appliance within
0.6and1.5bar:thisavoidssystemnoiselevelsduetothepresenceofair.
Incaseofinsufcientwatercirculation,theboilerwillswitchoff.Underno
circumstances,waterpressuremustbebelow0.5bar.
Ifthisconditionischecked,itisnecessarytorestorewaterpressureinthe
boiler proceeding as follows:
- setthemodeselector(g.4)to OFF
- openthellingtap(Bg.26)untilthepressurevalueiswithin1and1.5
bar.
Carefully close the tap.
Replace the mode selector on the initial position.
If pressure drop is frequent, contact the Technical Assistance Service.

1A GENERAL WARNINGS
The instruction manual is an integral part of the product and it must therefore
bekeptcarefullyandmustaccompanytheappliance;ifthemanualislostor
damaged,anothercopymustberequestedfromtheTechnicalAssistance
Service.
Thisboilermayonlybeinstalledandservicedbyqualiedpersonnel
whocomplywiththenationalandlocalcurrentregulations
Forinstallation,itisadvisabletocontactspecialisedpersonnel.
Theboiler must only be used for the application foreseen by the
manufacturer.Themanufacturershallnotbeliableforanydamageto
persons,animalsorpropertyduetoerrorsininstallation,calibration,
maintenance or due to improper use.
Thesafetyandautomaticadjustmentdevicesmustnotbemodied,
duringthesystemlifecycle,bythemanufacturerorsupplier.
This appliance produces hot water, therefore it must be connected to
aheatingsystemand/oradomestichotwatermains,compatiblewith
its performance and output.
Incase of water leakage, close thewatersupplyandcontactthe
TechnicalAssistanceServiceimmediately.
Incaseofabsenceforlongperiodstime,closethegassupplyand
switchofftheelectricalsupplymainswitch.Incaseofriskoffrost,
emptytheboiler.
Fromtimetotimecheckthattheoperatingpressureofthehydraulic
systemdoesnotdecreaseunder1bar.
In case of failure and/or malfunctioning, deactivate the appliance, and
donottrytorepairorintervenedirectlyonit.
Appliancemaintenancemustbecarriedoutatleastonceayear:pro-
gram it with the Technical Assistance Service will avoid wasting time
andmoney.
Boileruserequirestostrictlyobservesomebasicsafetyrules:
Donotusetheapplianceinanymannerotherthanitsintendedpurpose.
Itisdangeroustotouchtheappliancewithwetordampbodypartsand/
or in bare feet.
Under no circumstances cover the intake grids, dissipation grids and
ventilationventsintheinstallationroomwithcloths,paperoranyother
material.
Donotactivateelectricalswitches,telephoneoranyotherobjectthat
causessparksifthereisasmellofgas.Ventilatetheroombyopening
doors and windows and close the gas central tap.
Donotplaceanythingintheboiler.
Donotperformanycleaningoperationiftheapplianceisnotdiscon-
nectedfromthemainpowersupply.
Do not cover or reduce ventilation opening of the room where the
generator is installed.
Donotleavecontainersandinammableproductsintheinstallation
room.
Do not attempt to repair the appliance in case of failure and/or malfun-
ctioning.
It is dangerous to pull or twist the electric cables.
Children or unskilled persons must not use the appliance.
Do not intervene on sealed elements.
For better use, remember that:
- aperiodicexternalcleaningwithsoapywaternotonlyimprovesitsaes-
thetic aspect but also preserves panelling from corrosion, extending its
lifecycle;
- if the wall-mounted boiler is enclosed in pendant furniture, leave at least
5cmforventilationandmaintenance;
- installation of an ambient thermostat will favour a greater comfort, a more
rationaluseoftheheatandenergysaving;theboilercanalsobecon-
nected to a programming clock in order to manage ignition and switching
offduringthedayorweek.
