The nova
will not
turn on.
Check to be sure that both the power switch on the back
panel and the standby switch on the front panel are on.
The front panel standby button should be blue. It is amber
when in standby.
The nova
turns on
but there is
no sound.
sure your digital source is on and playing. Be sure
desired input button is also lit blue. If the input button is
button on the remote control to disengage mute. Check to
be sure your cables are properly connected.
The remote control
Please check the batteries by removing the cover on
the back of the remote control. It is an infrared remote
control so it needs a relatively direct and clear line-of-sight
to the IR receiver window on the front panel. If everything
works, except for volume the +/- buttons, the volume
knob on the front panel knob may need to be loosened
and re-tightened using a 1.5mm hex wrench.
You intermittently
lose your signal on
First, try relaunching your music server program (iTunes,
connections sometimes drop out and you may periodically
lose a connection just as may with your printer or other
devices connected to your PC. You should not have this
problem often. We designed the nova
to remain locked

occur consistently over a long period of time. Contact your
