Reset Button

1. The device will be switched to the static IP

mode and reboot itself when the user has

pressed the reset button for 3 seconds.

IP is

"192.168.0.50".

2. When the button has been pressed for

more than 6 seconds, the device will be

switched to the DHCP mode and reboot

itself (the users need to restore the factory

setting).

Installing Procedures

Wire and Cable Connection

1. Connect Power cord with 2-Pin terminal

block + cord end terminal together, and

insert it into DC 12V INPUT PORT.

2. Insert Ethernet cable into Ethernet port

according to the diagram above.

3. Connect the black wire (ground wire) to

the Mountingl Box. Remember to tighten

the screws on both sides. In order to

prevent power surge and lighting strike

from damaging the device, the Mountingl

Box should be connected to the earth wire

of the building.

applications, please read P.5-7(IO

Application) for reference.

Install Main Unit

1. Place the main unit into the Mounting Box

and tighten four Phillips screws(M4-L35) .

2. Firmly press the front panel against the

device until the panel touches the wall.

3. Use the tool lift the doorbell button and

tighten 2 security screws (M4-L10) with the

L-shaped key.

4. Close the key by pressing it until it snaps.

5. Do not rip the plastic cover in order to

protect the front panel.

IO Application

Electric Bolt

 The Electric Bolt is closed when +12 V is

supplied.

 The Electric Bolt is opened when +12V is

not supplied.

 DI1：The magnetic reed equipment should

set Low (HighLow), DI1 is used to detect

whether the door is closed well.

 When the electronic circuit connected

with the Electric Bolt completely, you

should choose “Positive” in the item

Device Relay Output on the WEB UI in

Entrance Setting – GPIO, and saved.

 Please follow Technical Manual to set

WEB UI.

Electric Strike

 The Electric Strike is opened when +12 V is

supplied.

 The Electric Strike is closed when +12V is

not supplied.

 DI1：The magnetic reed equipment should

set Low (HighLow), DI1 is used to detect

whether the magnetic reed is revert.

 When the electronic circuit connected

with the Electric Strike completely, you

should choose “Negative” in the item

Device Relay Output on the WEB UI in

Entrance Setting – GPIO, and saved.

 Please follow Technical Manual to set

WEB UI.

PIR Motion Sensor and Light

 AMROAD P3 can also connect PIR (Passive

Infrared)

motion sensor and Light. PIR

motion sensor detect whether person (or

living things) moves within the sensor range.

 Once PIR motion sensor detects person (or

living things) moves, it will trigger the Light

to be turn on for 30 seconds.

DO2 Service

 Device Relay Output：The way to detect set

High. If DI2 is triggered, DO2 will light up for

30 seconds automatically.

 Trigger By Digital Input 2：The way to detect

set High (LowHigh). DI2 is used to connect

to PIR (Movement Detector, Intruder

Detector).

 Please follow Technical Manual to set

WEB UI.
