7a) Adjust the machine feet so that an air gap
of approx. 5 mm is produced between the
lifting table and the underside of the container.
Also make sure that the machine is horizontal.
6. Adjustment of machine feet and container indicator:
(The machine feet are supplied separately with the machine to prevent damage during transport,
and the container indicator is pre-adjusted at the factory for the intended container but may require
ne adjustment for the correct container at the time of installation.)
7b) Adjust the container indicator so that the indicator prole (A) lifts
when the container is introduced into the machine. The indicator can
be steplessly adjusted by releasing three of the four screws (M6S
M10x20) that secure the indicator plate (B) in the slots and carefully
sliding the indicator plate upwards or downwards along the slots (C).
If the indicator is set too low, it will not be possible to introduce the
container into the machine. If the indicator is set too high, the indicator
prole will not lift when the container is introduced into the machine.
Complete the adjustment by tightening the screws again. Once the
container has been placed in the machine and the press unit has
been pulled over the container, the
container in position symbol (see
the Control panel section) will light
if the indicator is correctly adjusted.
8. Complete the installation by checking the oil
level when the press plate is in its highest position.
Make sure that the incoming cable is appropriately
positioned and properly protected against impact.

CONTROL PANEL
HP – indicates that the machine is set
to a high press force. This increases the
degree of compaction and results in a
higher weight for the compacted material
in the container.
LP – indicates that the machine is
set to a low press force. This reduces
the degree of compaction and results
in a lower weight for the compacted
material in the container. See “Technical
specications” for more details. This
function can be locked. Contact your
local distributor for more information.
Start – starts a
press cycle.
(A continuous
green light indi-
cates ready for
start.)
Lower lift
table – low-
ers the lift table
(used when
emptying a con-
tainer).
Emergency stop
– used if a press cycle must be
stopped immediately.
Black button (inside the
hole)
– used together with the
“low press plate” button to
raise the press plate if it has
descended, either when no
container was present in
the machine or when the
press unit is in its rearmost
position.
Low press plate /
(up arrow)
– ashes to indicate
that the press plate has
descended with a container
in the machine, or that the
emergency stop has been
activated in the middle of
a press cycle. Press the
button to reset the press
plate to its upper position
See also “Black button”.)
- emits a continuous light
to indicate that the press
plate is locked (to prevent
improper use of the
machine). See bottom of
page for further information.
Container in position
– ashing indicates that the
container is correctly positioned
inside the machine after container
replacement/emptying. If the
symbol ashes
together with the “low
press plate” symbol,
the press plate must
be raised, see “Black
button”.
Service light
Lit – the machine can
continue to be operated
but authorized service
personnel should be
contacted.
Flashing – there is a
fault with the machine.
Contact authorized
service personnel
immediately and do not
use the machine.
Temperature warning
lights
Blue light indicates that
the machine is cold.
The machine can still be
operated.
Red light indicates that
the machine has over-
heated and CANNOT
be operated until it has
returned to its
normal temper-
ature and the
light has gone
out.
Power light
– this light indicates
that there is power to
the machine.
Locking the press plate
The press plate can be locked
in its down position (to prevent
improper use of the machine).
To lock: Lower the press plate
using the start button and
depress the emergency stop.
Then release the emergency
stop. Next, depress the “lower
lifting table” button and hold it
down for ve seconds.
The machine is now locked, which is indicated by the LED on the ”low press plate” button emitting
