F/W Upgrade Method by CD

How to make an upgrade CD

1. Download the newest firmware file onto your computer from www.samsung.com.

2.Ifthefirmwarefileiscompressed(*.zip),thefileshouldbeuncompressed to RUF

file (*.ruf) or ISO file(*.iso).

3. If you have a .RUF file you must burn a DATA DISC with your CD burning software

and if you have a .ISO file you must burn an IMAGE DISC with your CD burning

software (Recommended CD Burning Program is Nero Burning ROM.)

[Note]

If you downloaded the USB firmware, you will have a .RUF file. If you downloaded the

CD firmware, you will have an .iso file.

Warning

The following events may interrupt the upgrade process and MAY RESULT IN PERMAN

ENT DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.

1. Unplugging the power cord

2. Power Outage

3. Dirt or Scratches on the burned CD-R/RW disc.

4. Closing or opening the disc tray during the update process.

How to upgrade the Blu-ray Disc Player

1. Insert the upgrade CD and close the tray

3. Press [Enter] button to choose 'Yes' to upgrade firmware.

4. The power will be turned off and on at the beginning of the firmware upgrade.

5. Tray will be opened automatically, remove the CD from the Disc Tray.

6. The upgrade progress bar will be appeared. When the update is completed, the Blu

-ray Disc Player will be turned off automatically

7. It is now safe to power on your Blu-ray Disc Player.
