MicroVision showwx vgadock is a device that allows you to connect your SHOWWX+™ laser pico projector to your laptop/computer. It also enables you to use an external monitor with your laptop. The vgadock has a lid that can be unlatched to slide the projector onto it. It supports the following resolutions: WVGA 848 X 480 {native}, WVGA2 800 x 400, and VGA 640 x 480. For the best image quality, it is recommended to set the laptop resolution to match the projector’s native resolution. Turn ON your SHOWWX+™ laser pico projector.
Turn ON your laptop/computer.
Connect the SHOWWX™ VGA DOCK to the monitor
port on the laptop computer.

Unlatch the lid on the VGA DOCK and slide the SHOWWX+
laser pico projector onto the VGA DOCK.
If needed, enable your external monitor.
Many laptops do not automatically turn on the external
video port when a projector is connected. Usually a key
combination like FN + F5 or a dedicated Monitor key
is required to enable. Typically you can press the FN key
and the Monitor key simultaneously.
Refer to your laptops documentation to learn how
your laptop can connect to a projector.

For the best image quality, we recommend you set the
laptop resolution to match the projector’s native resolution.
If the native resolution is not available, try to select one
of the other supported resolutions.
Some computers may require you to manually select the
resolution within the computer’s display settings. This can
usually be found in Control Panel > Displays > Settings >
Advanced > Adapter > List All Modes > Select supported
mode > OK. Refresh rate should be set to 60 Hertz.
Color quality should be 32 or 16-bit color.
Some computers may not be capable of displaying
all the resolutions of the SHOWWX+. Select the highest
one available.
If you see a warning “Video not Supported” please
select one of the supported resolutions of the SHOWWX+.
The SHOWWX+ supports the following resolutions: WVGA
848 X 480 {native}, WVGA2 800 x 400, and VGA 640 x 480.
When disconnecting, make sure that you unlatch
the VGA DOCK properly to avoid scratching or damaging
the projector.
