READ INSTRUCTIONS AND REVIEW ALL DIAGRAMS BEFORE
INSTALLING FIXTURE. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes,
ordinances and the Canadian Electrical Code.
2. These xtures should be mounted on an electrical outlet box. The box must be
directly supported by the building stucture.
3. Turn o the circuit breaker or remove the appropriate fuse to disconnect
power source before installing xture.
4. Turning the light switch o to cut the power is not sucient to prevent electric
shock. When in doubt about the safety of any electrical installation or repair,
consult a qualied electrician.
CLEANING: Before cleaning your xture, turn o the switch or power source.
Wipe the xture with a soft, damp cloth.
IMPORTANT: RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE, AND READ CAREFULLY.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN ASSEMBLY

MAKE SURE ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT
Compare all pieces to the parts and hardware lists, and
make sure you have all tools required for assembly.
REMOVE PACKAGING MATERIALS
Place packing materials back in the box. Do not dispose of
packaging materials until assembly is complete.
READ EACH STEP CAREFULLY
Make sure you understand each step. For any questions, contact

ASSEMBLE IN A CLEARED AREA
Place all parts from the box on the oor in front of you on a clean,
dry, level surface to protect the product as it is being built.

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

STEP 2
Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.
Depending on which type of fuse box you have in your home:
• Place either the main (Master) switch in
the “OFF” position, cutting o power
to your entire home, OR turn o the
individual switch that provides power to
where the xture will be installed.
• Place either the main (Master) switch in
the “OFF” position, cutting o power to
the entire home, OR unscrew the fuse
that provides power to where the xture
will be installed.
NOTE: Shutting o a wall switch that
controls the light is not sucient to
prevent electric shock.
WARNING! CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO ENSURE
CORRECT CIRCUIT CONDUCTOR.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
Determine desired xture height and amount of rods (A, B) needed. Install and
tighten each rod one at a time for easier installation. Feed wires through rods (A, B)
and screw bottom rod tightly to xture (1) or previously installed rod.
Secure the top metal rod to the canopy (D).

STEP 2
Attach the mounting strip G with the mounting screws to the outlet box using the
outlet box screws E to secure it.
The mounting screws on the mounting strip G should protrude out of the outlet
box as shown.
Attach the white wire from the house to the ribbed negative wire from the xture
1 using one of the included wire connectors F.
Then, attach the black wire from the house to the smooth positive wire from the
xture 1 same way.
Finally, attach the green ground wire (or bare copper wire) from the house to the
bare wire from the xture 1 using the remaining wire connector F.

STEP 3
Align the mounting holes on the canopy D with mounting screws on the
mounting strip G.
Put in place the canopy D making sure all wires are secure inside junction box.
Screw the decorative nuts H onto mounting screws to secure the canopy D to the
mounting strip G.

Place the glass shade 2 and secure with socket ring C.
Screw 1 medium base (E26), 60 W maximum bulb I into the socket of the light
xture 1.

AVANT D’INSTALLER LE LUMINAIRE. INSTRUCTIONS GÉNÉRALES :
1.
Tous les raccordements électriques doivent être conformes aux normes et
règlements locaux et au Code canadien de l’électricité.
2. Ces luminaires doivent être installés sur une boîte de sortie électrique. La boîte de sortie doit
être directement soutenue par la structure du bâtiment.
3. Éteignez le disjoncteur ou retirez le fusible approprié pour déconnecter la source
d’alimentation avant d’installer le luminaire.
4. Mettre l’interrupteur de lumière en position d’arrêt pour couper l’alimentation n’est pas
susant pour éviter un choc électrique. En cas de doute sur la sécurité d’une installation
ou d’une réparation électrique, consultez un électricien qualié.
NETTOYAGE : Avant de nettoyer votre luminaire, veuillez éteindre l’interrupteur
ou la source d’alimentation. Essuyez le luminaire avec un linge doux et humide.
