Warning! Read these instructions carefully and keep it for future reference for your safety.

2. INSTALLATION
Opentheboxandtakeouttheconvectorwithwallbracketwhichisattached
tothebackpanel.Pushdownthewallbracketanddetachitbypullingaway.
b. Drill8mm.holesonthewallwhereyou
havemarkedwithpencil.
c. Insertthe8mmwallplugswhichare
suppliedwiththeunit,intotheholes.
Alignthebracketholestothewallplugs
andplacethesuppliedscrewstothewall
plugsthroughbracketholes.Fixthescrews
tightlybyusingascrewdriverandnishthe
installationofthewallbracket.Makesure
theinstallationisrigidandsecure.
a. Usethewallbracketasatemplateandmark
theholesofthebracketontothewallbyusing
apencil.Whilemarkingtheholes,makesure
thatthedistancefromoortothebottomedges
ofthebracketismin.15cm.andthesidesof
thebracketaremin.20cm.awayfromcorners
andsurroundingobjects.Leaveamin.distance
of25cm.fromtheledgesandhangingobjects
withtheupperedgesofthebracket.

d. Alignthehooksofthewallbrackettothenotcheslocated
atthebackpanelofUFOCONVECTORandinsertthehooks
carefully.Ifthepowersocketisattheleftoftheappliance,pass
thepowercordthroughindentsatthebottomofthebracketand
extendittoothersideasshownin‘gure2’.
e. Placethe‘locks’tothetopofthebracketasshownin
‘gure
3-a’.Insertthe3,9x6,5metalscrewthrough‘locks’intothescrew
holesofthewallbracket(gure3-b).Pushthe‘lock’intothexing
holelocatedonthebackpaneloftheUFOCONVECTORand
tightenthescrewrmlywithascrewdriver(gure3-c).

UFOConvectorhasthe“Humidier”functionwhichhumidiesthedry
ambientair.Pickupthe“HumidierTankCover”andpourmax.0,9litersof
cleanwater(preferablydistilledwater)intothewatertank.Makesurethatthe
amountofwaterinthe“HumidierTank”doesnotexceedtheMax.levelofthe
“WaterLevelIndicator”whichislocatedontopleftoftheglasspanel.
Touchthe“Humidier”buttonwhiletheapplianceisin
“On”position.
Asingle‘drop’iconwillappearonthescreenand“Humidifer“starts
operatingatrstlevel.Touchingthebuttonforthesecondandthird
timewillincreasethenumberof“drop”iconsandtheoperatinglevel
to2and3respectively.Youcansimplyincreaseordecreasethe
“Humidier”powerbypressingthe“Humidier”button.
Todeactivatethefunction,touchthe“Humidier”buttonwhile
operatingatthird(max.)level.Whendeactivated,allthe“drop”icons
willdisappear.
Youcanadjustthedesiredroomtemperatureby
touchingoneofthe“Arrow”buttonswhenthe
applianceisin“On”position.
Factorysetttingforroomtemperatureis22ºC.Ifambient
temperatureislowerthan22ºC,UFOCONVECTORstartsheating
untiltheroomtemperaturerisesupto22ºC.Ifroomtemperature
ishigherthan22ºC,UFOCONVECTORdoesnotheat.
Thepresettemperaturevalueappearsonthescreenand“TEMPºC”starts
ashing.
Touchthe“Arrow”buttonsandadjusttheroomtemperatureyouprefer.Wait
for4secondsandtheashingwillstopindicatingthattheadjustedvalueis
stored.
Temperatureindicatorwillcontinuetoshowtheroomtemperature.Youcan
alwaysadjustthedesiredroomtemperatureasdescribedabove.
AgreenLEDlightbelowthe
LCDscreenappearsin“On”
position.

Low Water Level Warning;
WhenwaterlevelinthetankisbelowMin.,UFOConvectorstopshumidifying,then
warnstheuservisuallybyashing“HUMIDITYERR”and“drop”iconsonthe
screen,followinganaudiblewarningwitha“beep”soundfor2secondslong.
Inthiscase,youcanreactivatethehumidierbyfollowingthe3stepsdescribed
below;
•FillthetankwithwatertotheMax.level.
•Whentheapplianceisin“On”position,keeptouchingthe“Humidier”
buttonuntilalltherelatedwarningsdisappearfromthescreen.
•Touchthe“Humidier”buttonagaintoreactivatethefunction.
CAUTION!Donotactivatethehumidierifthetanklackswater.Whenactivated
withoutaddingwater,theappliancewilldetectthe“lowwaterlevel”andrepeat
thewarnings.Makesurethatthewaterlevelisabove“Min”beforerestartingthe
humidierfunction.
Cleaning:
Dependingonthecontentofwaterusedinthe“HumidierTank”,limeordirt
maybuildupontheresistanceorinsidethetank.SeeChapter5(Cleaningand
Maintenance)forcleaninginstructionsofthehumidiertank.
b. Setting the On-Off Timer (PRG Function)
UFOCONVECTORcanbeprogrammedtooperateatadenedtimeperiod.Sothat
itheatsonlyduringtheprogrammedtime.
Donotforgettosetthecorrecttimebeforeactivatingthisfunction.“PRG”function
operatesdependingonthetimeyouset.
CAUTION! UFOCONVECTORheatsonlyattheprogrammedtimeintervalswhen
“PRG”functionisactivated.Exceptthistimeinterval,itwillnotoperateevenifthe
roomtemperatureisbelowthesettemperature.
Touchthe“PRG”buttonfor4secondswhentheapplianceisin
“On”position.
PRG”and“ONTIME”iconsstartashingontheLCDdisplay.
Setthe‘on’timebytouchingthe“Arrow”buttons.Thesetting
speedcanbeincreasedbytouchingcontinuously.
Whenthe‘on’timeisset,touch“OK”buttontosaveit.
Then“TIMEOFF”iconstartsashingindicatingthatyou
shouldsetan‘off’time.Setthe‘off’timebyusingthe
“Arrow”buttons.
Saveitbytouchingthe“OK”button.
TEMP°C(orTEMP°F)willstartashingontheLCDscreen.
Adjustthedesiredroomtemperatureforthistimeinterval
byusingthe“Arrow”buttons.
Touchthe“OK”buttontonishtheprogramming.
“PRG”iconappearsonLCDscreenandtellsyouthattheapplianceisprogrammed
tooperateforthesettimeonly.

CAUTION! “PRG”functiononlyoperatesiftheapplianceisin“On”position.It
doesn’toperatewhenswitchedto“Off”position.IfyouwantUFOCONVECTORto
operateduringtheprogrammedtime,youshouldleaveitin“On”position.
Ifthe“ONTIME”and“TIMEOFF”aresettosamehour,theapplianceoperatesfor
24hoursaccordingtothetemperaturewhichissetwhileprogrammingthetimer.
Thefactorysettingfor“ONTIME”is00:01and“TIMEOFF”is00:00.
Repeattheprogramminginstructionsasdescribedaboveifyouwantto
changetheOn-Offtimersettings.
Tocancelthe“PRG”functionandreturntothemanualsettings,touch
the“Arrow”buttonwhentheapplianceisin“On”position.“PRG”icon
disappearsandmanualsettingbecomesvalid.
c. Antifrost Function
Inverycoldclimates,theambienttemperaturemayfalltocriticaldegrees
whichcanbeharmfulforbothlivingbeingsandgoods.Topreventthis,
UFOCONVECTORhasAntifrostfunctionwhichdetectstemperatures
below5ºC(41ºF)andstartsheatingautomaticallythuskeepingtheroom
temperatureabovecriticaldegrees.
Toactivatethe“Antifrost”function,touchthe“snow”buttonwhenthe
applianceisin“on”position.
“Snow”iconappearsontheLCDscreenindicatingthatthe
functionisactivated.
Inordertocancelthe“Antifrost”function,simplytouchthe“snow”button
again.“Snow”iconwilldisappear.
CAUTION! “Antifrost”doesnotworkin“standby”mode.Makesurethat
yourapplianceisin“On”positionifyouwanttousethisfunction.
If“Antifrost”isactivatedwhiletheapplianceisworkingat“PRG”mode,
yourappliancestartsheatingwhenambienttemperatureisbelow5°C
duringthetimeotherthantheprogrammedtimeintervals.
CAUTION! Whenthisfunctionisactivatedin“Manual”mode,yourappliance
doesnotheatifthetemperatureisover5°C.Youshouldcancelthefunctionto
increasetheroomtemperature.
d. Ionizer
UFOCONVECTORcontributestoyourhealthbycleaningtheairwiththehelpof
its“Ionizer”function.
Touchthe“Ion”buttonwhileyourapplianceisin“On”position.
“Ion”iconappearsontheLCDscreenindicatingthatthefunctionisactivated.
Tocancelthefunction,touchthe“Ion”buttonagainandtheicononthescreenwill
disappear.

e. Child Lock
Youcanactivatethe“ChildLock”ofyourappliancetopreventchildrenplaying
withit.Whenthisfunctionisactivated,controlbuttonsstopsresponding.
Touchthe“ChildLock”buttonfor4secondseitheryourappliance
isin“On”or“Standby”modes.
“ChildLock”iconashesonthescreenandthefunctionbecomesactivated.
Touchthe“ChildLock”buttonagainfor4secondstocancelit.Icononthescreen
willdisappear.
YoucanadjusttheUFOCONVECTORsetttingsaccordingtoyourpreference.
a. Changing the Temperature Value
Temperaturevaluecanbesetto‘Celsius(°C)’to‘Fahrenheit(°F)’ortoopposite.
Touchthe“Ion”buttonfor4secondslongineither“Standby”or“On”modes.
“TEMP°C”indicatorwillswitchto“TEMP°F”ortoopposite,thuschangingthe
correspondingtemperaturevalueonthescreen.
CAUTION! Factorysettingforthetemperaturevalueis“TEMP°C”(Celsius)
anditcanbesetbetween10°Cto40°C.Changethissettingonlyifthe
temperaturevalueis‘Fahrenheit’inthecountrywhichthisapplianceisbeingused.
b. LCD Backlight
LCDbacklightisalwaysonwhenUFOCONVECTORisswitchedto“On”position
asapresetfactorysetting.Inordertochangeit:
Eitherin“On”and“Standby”modes,touchthe“Snow”
buttonfor4seconds.
ThissettingturnsoffLCDbacklightafter30secondswhenabuttonistouchedin
“On”mode.Itwillremainoffuntilabuttonistouchedagain.
Ifyouwanttoresettothecontinuousbacklightofthescreen,touchthe
“Snow”buttonagainfor4seconds.
c. Turning Off the Button Sounds
Tocancelthe“beep”soundsofthebuttons:
Touchtheboth“Arrow”buttonsatthesametimefor4secondseitherin“On”or
“Standby”modes.The‘beep’soundsofthebuttonswillbecancelled.
Toreactivatethesound,repeatthisoperation.

Unplugyourapplianceandwaituntilitiscoolenough.
•Cleanthesurfacewithasoftdampcloth.Refrainfromusingharmfulchemicalmaterialsthatmaycausedamage.Descalingchemicalsmaydamagethewatertank.
•Becarefulnottoseepwaterintotheappliancewhilecleaning.Makesurethatitiscompletelydrybeforeoperating.
•Ifthereisanykindofdeformationordamageontheappliancebodyoronthepowercord,donotoperateandconsulttoanauthorizedtechnicalservice.
•Checkthelthinessoftheairinletsandoutletsregularly.Cleanwithahooverifnecessary.
Cleaning the Humidifier Tank
Afteroperatingthehumidierforsometime,limeanddirtmaybuildupontheresistanceandinsidethewatertankofthehumidierdependingonthewaterused.Theexcessive
amountoflimeanddirtinthewatertankmaycausemalfunctionofthehumidierresistanceandunsuccessfuldetectionofwaterlevel.Forenefcientuseofthe“Humidier”
function,checkthelthinessinsidethewatertankregularly.Beforecleaning,dismounttheappliance.
Placetheapplianceinuprightpositionwheretheglass
panelisverticaltotheoor.Makesurethatoorissoft
andsmooth.Inordertodrainthewaterinthetank,place
apotbelowthe“drainagecap”andopenthecapwitha
screwdriver.Tilttheappliancebackandmakesurethat
watertankisemptiedintothecup.Thenscrewthe
“drainagecap”tightly.
Use‘LemonSalt’(preferablysmall-grained)for
cleaningofthewatertank.Poura‘teacup’fullof
‘lemonsalt’intothetank.Thenpour0,9litersof
boilingwaterintothetankandwaitfor15minutes.
Openthethecapagainandemptythedirtywater
intothepot.Tomakesurethatthetankisfreeof
dissolveddeposit,pourboilingwaterforafew
timesanddrainit.Afterthecleaning,screwthe
capinitsplacetightlyandmounttheappliance
ontothewallbracketaccordingly.

6.ERROR WARNINGS & TROUBLESHOOTING
6.1 Error Warnings
UFOCONVECTORwarnsfor2typesoferrors:
a. “RESISTANCE ERR” Error
Iftheapplianceisoverheated,theheatingresistancescutoff,thenLCDscreen
backlightand“RESISTANCEERR”iconsstartsashingforwarning.Atthesame
timea“beep”soundrepeatedfor3times2secondswith5minutesintervalswill
beheard.
Cause of Error 1:
Whenitiscoveredortheairinletoroutletsareobstructedwithobjects,
overheatingoccursinsidetheappliance.Inordertopreventapossible
danger,errorwarningsasdescribedaboveoccursandappliancestops
operatinguntilitismanuallyoperatedagain.
Solution:
Removetheclothesleftontheapplianceand/orobjectsawayfromthe
appliance.Touchthe“OK”buttonfor4seconds.
Or
Unplugthepowercableandplugitagain.Thentouchthe“On-Off”buttonto
switchit“On”mode.Audibleandvisiblewarningsdisappearsandappliance
continuestooperate.
Cause of Error 2:
Resistanceortriacmalfunction.
Solution:
Besurethatyouhavetriedthemethoddescribedin‘cause1’anditdoes
notwork.Consulttoanauthorizedtechnicalservice.
b. “HUMIDITY ERR” Error
“HUMIDITYERR”lettersand“drop”iconsstartashingontheLCD
display.Asingle“beep”soundfor2secondsisfollowedasanaudible
warning.
Cause of Error 1:
Waterlevelinthetankisbelow“Min”.
Solution:
SeeChapter4.3.a“Humidier”
Cause of Error 2:
HumidierMalfunction
Solution:
Ifthewaterlevelisabove“Min”andtheappliancegiveserrorasashing
“HUMIDITYERR”letterswith2secondslong‘beep’sound,butthereare
noashing“drop”iconsonthedisplay,turnoffthehumidierfunction.
Pourcoldwaterintothetankandwaitfor15minutesbeforereactivating
thehumidier.Iftheerrorcontinues,cleanthewatertankasdescribedin
Chapter5.Ifcleaningdoesnothelp,consulttoanauthorizedtechnical
service.
CAUTION! Thedifferencebetweenthe“lowwaterlevel”errorand
“humidiermalfunction”erroristheashing“drop”icons.

6.2 Troubleshooting
1. Appliance does not work. LCD screen and LED lights are off.
•Plugthepowercableandbesurethattheplugwhichyouhaveconnectedyourappliancehaspower.
•Checkthepowercord.
2. Appliance does not heat.
•Itisin“standby”modeandredLEDlightison.Touchthe“On-Off”buttontostartheating
•Thetemperaturevaluewhichhasbeenset,isbelowtheroomtemperature.Increasethetemperaturevaluefortheambienttemperatureyouwant.(SeeChapter4.2.b)
•Itisin“PRG”modeandwillnotheatunlessthecurrenttimeisbetweentheprogrammedtimeinterval.Youcancancelthe“PRG”mode.(SeeChapter4.3.b)
•“Antifrost”functionisactivatedandtheappliancewillnotheatabove5ºC.Youcancancelthisfunction.(SeeChapter4.3.c)
3. “RESISTANCE ERR” keeps flashing on the LCD screen.
•Checktheinstallationdistances.MakesurethattheairinletsandoutletsoftheapplianceareawayfromtheobjectswithindistancesasdescribedinChapter2.
•Nevercoveryourappliancetodryyourclothesorfordecoration.
•Cleantheairinletsandoutletswithahooverregularly.
•ChecktheinstructionsgivenatChapter6.1.a
Ifthesolutionmethodsabovearenothelpful,consulttoanauthorizedservicetogetfurtherhelp.

Thiswarrantywillbecomevoidiftheserialnumber(ifapplicable),modelnumberidentication,orbrandhavebeenwhollyorpartiallyremovedorerased.
