ABS MegaCam HS421X 6” Outdoor Housing

(for 421M/4210 Network Camera)

Thank you for purchasing the ABS MegaCam HS421X outdoor housing/enclosure for MegaCam

421M/4210 Network Cameras. With the correct installation, the 421M/4210 camera can be used for

outdoor environment under IP66 protection. Please follow the steps below for installation:

Step 1:

Open outer carton, there are 2 boxes inside:

Take out all the components.

Step 3:

Feed power adaptor and LAN cable through wall mount bracket.

Step 4:

Insert the cables into outdoor housing. The cables should go through the center of the electrical

board.

Step 5:

Fasten the wall mount onto the outdoor housing. Use L-wrench to screw the outdoor housing

tightly.

Step 6:

Use the small screws to secure the outdoor mounting bracket to the bottom side of the IP Network

Camera.

Step 7:

Move the LAN cable underneath and to the side of the electrical board. Insert the 12V DC power

adaptor to electrical board connector marked “DC In”.

Note: Minimum requirement is 12V DC 1.5A adaptor (DC for both P/T IP cam and heater/fan)

Step 8:

Insert “power transmission cable” to the electric board connector marked “DC Out”.

Move LAN cable from center to side Insert power adaptor to “DC in” connector

Put cables in order

Step 9:

Using the long screws and standoffs, fix the bridge (with P/T IP cam) onto the outdoor housing

Step 10:

Insert the power cable and LAN cable to the P/T IP cam connectors. Fasten the transparent cover to

the outdoor housing.

Congratulations! You have completed the installation of the outdoor housing.
