SAVE THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.

For multiple hazards, read and understand the safety instructions before installing, operating, repairing,

maintaining, changing accessories on, or working near the assembly power tool for threaded fasteners.

Failure to do so can result in serious bodily injury.

Only qualified and trained operators should install, adjust or use the assembly power tool for threaded

fasteners.

DO NOT MODIFY this assembly power tool for threaded fasteners. Modifications can reduce the

effectiveness of safety measures and increase the risks to the operator.

DO NOT DISCARD the safety instructions; give them to the operator.

DO NOT USE the assembly power tool for threaded fasteners if it has been damaged.

WORK AREA

• Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered benches and dark areas increase the risks of

accidents.

• Do not operate the tool in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases,

or dust. The tool creates a spark which may ignite flammable liquids, gases or dust.

• Keep bystanders, children, and others away while operating the tool. Distractions could result in

improper use and cause injury.

• Avoid unintentional misfires. Always use caution to avoid accidentally firing. Do not point towards

yourself or anyone.

PERSONAL SAFETY

• Avoid unintentional firing. Keep fingers away from trigger when not working, especially when

connecting the tool to the air supply. Never carry the tool with the trigger depressed or engaged. Do

not lock, tape or wire the trigger for continuous operation.

• Always wear eye protection. Operator and others in the work area should always wear ANSI

Z87.1-approved safety goggles with side shields. Eye protection is used to guard against flying

fasteners and debris, which may cause severe eye injury.

• Always wear ANSI S3.19 hearing protection when using the tool. Prolonged exposure to high

intensity noise may cause hearing loss.

• Always wear gloves when using the tools. This will help prevent injury from vibration.

• Use safety equipment. A dust mask, non-skid safety shoes and a hard hat must be used for the

applicable conditions.

• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing,

jewelry, and gloves away from moving parts as they can be caught in moving parts.

• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use

tool while you are tired, under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention

while operating the tool may cause serious injury.

• Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Proper footing and balance enables better control of the

tool in unexpected situations.

• Do not use on a ladder or unstable supports. Stable footing on a solid surface enables better control of

the tool in unexpected situations.

• Make sure the hose is free of obstructions or snags. Entangled or snarled hoses can cause loss of

balance or footing and may become damaged, resulting in possible injury.

• Disconnect the product from the air source before making any adjustments.

• Do not put hands near or under moving parts.

• Do not attach the hose or tool to your body. Attach the hose to the structure to reduce the risk of loss

of balance if the hose shifts.

• Wash hands after handling. This product or its power cord may contain chemicals known to the State

of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

• Never leave the operating tool unattached. Disconnect air hose when the tool is not in use.

• For overhead work, wear a safety helmet.

TOOL USE AND CARE

• Know this tool. Read manual carefully, learn its applications and limitations, as well as the specific

potential hazards related to this tool.

• Only use impact-grade sockets with air impact tools. Always use attachments rated for the speed of

the tool. Do not modify tools or attachments.

• Never use oxygen, carbon dioxide or other bottled gasses as a power source for air tools. Only use

clean, dry air at the specified pressure.

• Only use accessories for the specific tool model as identified by the manufacturer.

• Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other condition that

may affect the tool's operation. If damaged, have the tool serviced before using. Many accidents are

caused by poorly maintained tools.

• Maintain tools with care. Keep tool clean. A properly maintained tool, reduces the risk of binding and

is easier to control.

• Store tools out of the reach of children and other untrained people. This tool is dangerous in the hands

of untrained users.

• Do not use the tool for anything other than its intended use.

• Do not use tool if trigger does not actuate properly. Any tool that cannot be controlled with the trigger

is dangerous and must be repaired.

• Do not force tool. Use the correct tool for your application. The correct tool will do the job better and

safer at the rate for which it is designed.

• Use clamps or another practical way to secure and support the workpiece to a stable platform.

Holding a tool by hand or against the body is unstable and may lead to loss of control.

• Keep the tool and its handle dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Always use a clean cloth when

cleaning. Never use brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, or any strong solvents to clean

your tool.

• Do not use the tool as a hammer.

• Never use gasoline or other flammable liquids to clean the tool. Never use the tool in the presence of

flammable liquids or gases. Vapors could ignite by a spark and cause an explosion which will result

in death or serious personal injury.

• Do not remove, tamper with, or otherwise cause the trigger lock or trigger to become inoperable. Do

not operate any tool which has been modified in a like fashion. Death or serious personal injury could

result.

• Do not touch the trigger unless working. Never attach air hose to tool or carry tool while touching the

trigger. The unconventional driving which will result in death or serious personal injury.

• Always fit tool with a fitting or hose coupling on or near the tool in such a manner that all

compressed air in the tool is discharged at the time the fitting or hose coupling is disconnected. Do

not use a check valve or any other fitting which allows air to remain in the tool. Death or serious

personal injury could occur.

• Never carry the tool by the air hose or pull the hose to move the tool or a compressor. Keep hoses

away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Replace any hose that is damaged, weak or worn. Personal

injury or tool damage could occur.

• Do not drop or throw the tool. Dropping or throwing the tool can result in damage that will make the

tool unusable or unsafe. If the tool has been dropped or thrown, examine the tool closely for bent,

cracked or broken parts and air leaks. STOP and repair before using or serious injury could occur.

• Clean and check all air supply hoses and fittings before connecting the tool to an air supply. Replace

any damaged or worn hoses or fittings. Tool performance or durability may be reduced.

• Do not use the tool if it leaks air or does not function properly.

• Do not operate the tool if it does not contain a legible warning label.

• Always carry the tool by the handle. Never carry the tool by the air hose.

TOOL SERVICE

• Only use accessories that are identified by the manufacturer for the specific tool model.

• Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow maintenance instructions may create a risk of injury.

• Only use lubricants supplied with the tool or specified by the manufacturer.

• Tool service must only be performed by qualified repair personnel.

• Keep tools clean and properly oiled for best and safest performance.

AIR SUPPLY AND CONNECTIONS

• Never connect to an air source that is capable of exceeding 200psi. Over pressurizing the tool can

result in bursting, abnormal operation, breakage of the tool or serious injury to persons. Always

verify prior to using the tool that the air source has been adjusted to the rated air pressure or within the

rated air-pressure range.

• Never use oxygen, carbon dioxide, combustible gases or any bottled gas as an air source for the tool.

Such gases are capable of explosion and serious injury to person. Only use clean, dry, regulated

compressed air at the rated pressure or within the rated pressure range marked on the tool.

• The connector on the tool must not hold pressure when air supply is disconnected. If the wrong fitting

is used, the tool can remain charged with air after disconnecting and thus will be able to work after the

air hose is disconnected possibly causing injury.

• Always disconnect air supply:

1. Before making adjustment.

2. When servicing the tool.

3. When tool is not is use.

4. When moving to a different work area.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION

WARNING: Read and thoroughly understand all instructions and safety information before operating

this impact wrench. Failure to do so may cause serious injury or death. Do not allow anyone to operate

this impact wrench who has not read this manual. An impact wrench can be dangerous if assembled or

used improperly. Do not operate this impact wrench if you have doubts or questions concerning safe

operation. Call our customer service department at 1-800-791-9458 to address these concerns.

• Keep your hands or any part of body from the moving parts.

• Never point tool at anyone.

• Always ensure that the Forward/Reverse switch is in the desired position before starting the tool.

• Never lay a tool down unless the working attachment has stopped moving.

• Always ensure that the tool is not moving and disconnected from the air supply when changing

sockets etc. Only use impact sockets. Do not use standard sockets.

WARNING: Always wear safety glasses, safety gloves, safety shoes and suitable work clothing when

operating this impact wrench. Do not wear jewelry, neckties or other loose clothing which could get

caught in moving parts.

1. Remove plastic air inlet protective cap from air inlet.

2. Install a ¼ inch male air plug included by applying sealant tape to the

threading, wrapping clockwise. Screw threaded male air plug by hand

into air inlet and tighten with a wrench. It may need two wrenches to

tighten. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.

3. Place 2-3 drops of air tool oil into the male air plug before each use.

NOTE: Proper lubrication is EXTREMELY important to assure

proper tool performance and avoid tool damage. ALWAYS lubricate

the tool before each use if not using an in-line oiler.

4. Plug in compressor, turn it on, set the pressure regulator to 90 PSI,

attach one end of the air hose to the compressor and the other end of

the air hose (1) to the tool (2) (Fig. A).

5. Attach the socket (1) of required size to the drive head (2) of the tool

(Fig. B).

6. Place the socket over the nut to be removed or installed.

7. Press the trigger (1) of the tool for rotating operation

(Fig. C).

8. Adjust the regulator knob(1) at the rear end of the tool to control

the speed of the air flow and to adjust the direction of rotation

(forward and reverse) (Fig. D).

9. Verify that the air supply is clean and that air pressure does not exceed 90 PSI while operating the

Air-powered impact wrench.

DO NOT use any additional force upon the wrench in order to remove a nut.

DO NOT allow wrench to free run for an extended period of time as this will shorten its life.

AIR SUPPLY

IMPORTANT: To operate correctly, this tool requires airflow of at least 6.5 Cubic Feet per

Minute(CFM) at 90 Pounds per Square Inch (PSI) at the tool.

Air hose may cause loss in pressure up to 15 psi, requiring a higher compressor output to compensate and

maintain required pressure at the tool.

Check the specifications of your air compressor to be sure that it can support both the CFM and PSI

required by this specific tool.

1. Ensure wrench air valve (or trigger) is in the “off” position before connecting to the air supply.

2. It will require air pressure of 90psi, and air flow according to specification.

3. WARNING! Ensure the air supply is clean and does not exceed 90psi while operating the wrench.

Too high an air pressure and unclean air will shorten the product life due to excessive wear, and may

be dangerous causing damage or personal injury.

4. Drain the air tank daily. Water in the air line will damage the wrench.

5. Clean air inlet filter weekly.

6. Line pressure should be increased to compensate for unusually long air hose. The hose diameter

should be 3/8” I.D.

7. Keep hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Check hose for wear, and make certain that all

connections are secure.

LUBRICATION

An automatic in-line filter-regulator-lubricator is recommended (Fig4) as it increases tool life and keeps

the tool in sustained operation. The in-line lubricator should be regularly checked and filled with air tool

oil.

Proper adjustment of the in-line lubricator is performed by placing a sheet of paper next to the exhaust

ports and holding the throttle open approximately 30 seconds. The lubricator is properly set when a light

stain of oil collects on the paper. Excessive amounts of oil should be avoided.

In the event that it becomes necessary to store the tool for an extended period of time (overnight,

weekend, etc.), it should receive a generous amount of lubrication at that time. The tool should be run for

approximately 30 seconds to ensure oil has been evenly distributed throughout the tool. The tool should

be stored in a clean and dry environment.

• It is most important that the tool be properly lubricated by keeping the air line lubricator filled and

correctly adjusted. Without proper lubrication the tool will not work properly and parts will wear

prematurely.

• Use the proper lubricant in the air line lubricator. The lubricator should be of low air flow or changing

air flow type, and should be kept filled to the correct level. Use only recommended lubricants,

specially made for pneumatic applications. Substitutes may harm the rubber compounds in the tools,

O-rings and other rubber parts.

IMPORTANT!!!

If a filter/regulator/lubricator is not installed on the air system, air operated tools should be lubricated at

least once a day or after 2 hours work with 2 to 6 drops of oil, depending on the work environment,

directly through the male air plug in the tool housing.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING: Disconnect wrench from air supply before changing accessories, servicing or performing

maintenance. Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Non-authorized parts may be

dangerous.

1. Lubricate the air wrench daily with a few drops of air tool oil dripped into the air inlet

2. Air-operated tools must be inspected periodically and worn or broken parts must be replaced to ensure

that the tools are operating safely and efficiently.

3. Inspect and replace worn or damaged 0-ring, seals, etc. Tighten all screws and caps frequently in order

to help prevent personal injury.

4. Keep the magazine of the tool clean and free of any dirt or abrasive particles.

5. The tool should be properly lubricated by keeping the in-line lubricator filled and correctly adjusted.

Without proper lubrication. The tool will not work effectively and parts will wear prematurely.

6. Inspect the tool periodically and replace worn or broken parts in order to keep tools operating safely

and efficiently.

7. Tighten all screws and caps frequently in order to prevent injury.

8. Inspect the trigger, the spring, and safety mechanism for free movement on a regular basis in order to

Ensure that the safety system is fully functional. Verify that no parts are loose or missing.

STORAGE

When the tool is not in use , disconnect it from the air supply, clean, and store it in a safe, dry, childproof

location.

When the tool is stored for longer period of time, apply an ample amount of lubricating oil before storing.

Run the tool for approximately 30 seconds after lubricating, in order to ensure that the lubrication is

uniformly distributed throughout the tool. Store the tool in a clean and dry environment.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

The following form lists the common operating system with problem and solutions. Please read the form

carefully and follow it.

WARNING: If any of the following symptoms appears during your operating, stop using the tool

immediately, or serious personal injury could result. Only a qualified persons or an authorized service

center can perform repairs or replacement of tool.

Warranty and, to the extent permitted by law, any warranty or condition implied by law, shall be the repair or

replacement of parts, without charge, which are defective in material or workmanship and which have not been
