Remote control does not work
- Before you press any funcon buon, first select the correct source with the remote control instead of the
main unit
- Reduce the distance between the remote control and the unit
- Insert the baery with its polaries (+/- signs) aligned as indicated
- Replace the baery
- Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the unit
Cannot display some files in the USB device
- The number of folders or filed in the USB device exceeds the max limit. This is not a malfuncon of the unit.
- The formats of these files are not supports
USB device not supported
- The USB device is incompable with the unit. Try another one.
Poor radio recepon
- Increase the distance between the unit and your TV or VCR
- Fully extend the FM antenna
Bluetooth does not connect with external device
- Verify that the external device is compable with A2DP
- Verify that the external device is within the transmission range
- Verify that the external device has already been paired with the unit.
- Verify if there is no other external device paired with the unit.

Thank you for having purchased the new Sytech 2.1 CH Mulmedia Speaker System SY-X940DJ. For a proper use of this
product, please read this instrucon manual carefully. In order to avoid damage or personal injuries, always follow the
safety instrucons given in this user manual.
IMPORTANT
SAFETY
This bolt of lightning indicates uninsulated material within your unit, which may cause an electrical shock. For the
safety of everyone in your household, please do not remove the product covering.
The exclamaon point calls aenon to features for which you should read the enclosed literature closely to prevent
operang and maintenance problems.
WARNING: to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, this apparatus should not be exposed to rain or moisture and
objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should not be placed on this apparatus.
CAUTION: to prevent electric shock, match the wide blade of the plug to the wide slot and fully insert it properly.

HEARING SAFETY
Listen at a moderate volume
- Using headphone at a high volume can impair your hearing. This product can produce sounds in decibel ranges
that may cause hearing loss for a normal person, even for exposures which are less than 1 minute. The higher
decibel ranges are offered for those that may have hearing loss.
- Sound can be deceiving. Over me your hearing “comfort level” adapts to higher volumes of sound. So aer
the prolonged listening, what sounds “normal” can actually be loud and harmful to your hearing. To guard
against this, set your volume to a safe level before you hearing gets adapted.
To establish a safe volume level
- Set your volume control at a low seng
- Slowly increase the sound unl you can hear it comfortably and clearly without any distoron.

Connect the unit to the power source
Cauon!
- Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the
back or the underside of the unit
- Risk of electric shock! When you unplug the AC power cord, always pull out the plug from the socket, never
unplug by pulling the cord.
- Before you connect the AC power cord, make sure that you have completed all other connecons
Connect the power cable to the wall socket:
Listen for reasonable periods
- Prolonged exposure to sound, even at “safe” levels, can cause hearing loss
- Be sure to use your equipment reasonable and take appropriate breaks
Be sure to observe the following guidelines when using your headphones
- Listen at reasonable volumes for reasonable periods of me
- Be careful not to adjust the volume as your hearing adapts
- Do not turn up the volume so high that you can’t hear your surroundings
- You should use cauon or temporarily disconnue use in potenally hazardous situaons. Do not use
headphones while operang a motorized vehicle, cycling, skateboarding, etc.: it may create a traffic hazard
and this is illegal in many areas.

Prepare the remote control
Cauon!
- Risk of explosion! Keep baeries away from heat, sunshine or fire. Never discard baeries in fire.
- Risk of decreased baery life! Never mix different brands or types of baeries.
- Risk of product damage! Where the remote control is not used for long periods, remove the baeries
- Danger of explosion! If the baery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
To use the remote control:
1. Take out the insulaon sheet from the remote control boom
2. Insert the insulaon sheet back when you are not using the remote control for prolonged periods.
Turn the unit on
1. Press the power buon on the main unit
2. Press the power buon of the remote control to switch on the standby mode
3. Press the same buon once again to return to normal mode
PLAYBACK
USB/SD playback
- Insert the USB plug of a USB device into the main USB socket on the main unit. If not please insert a SD card
into the SD slot on the main unit.
- Press the USB/SD buon to switch to the USB/SD source.
- Press the or key to select tracks
- Press the key to play or pause
Basic Playback operaons
You can control playback through the following operaons:
KEY F UNCTION
LED Press LED buon to open or close the flashing light
EQ Press EQ buon to change different sound effects
Press to PLAY/PAUSE and press against resume to play .
Note:
- Make sure that the USB storage device contains playable
audio contents for support formats.
- Important: The USB port is intended only for data transfer
only, other devices cannot be used with this USB connecon.
The use of USB extension cords is not recommended.
- The MAX memory size of USB/SD: 16GB
Adjusng the sound during playback
During playback, you may adjust the volume through the following operaons
KEY FUNCTION
VOL +/- To increase or decrease the volume
MUTE To mute/restore the sound
BASS +/- To turn on/off the dynamic bass/treble enhan cement
TREBLE +/- To turn on/off the dynamic bass/treble enhan cement
LISTEN TO THE RADIO
Tune FM radio staons
Note:
Make sure that you have connected and fully extended the supplied FM antenna
1. Press the MODE buon on the remote control or on the main unit to switch to the FM mode.
2. Press the SCAN buon to search and program radio staons automacally.
3. Press the buons to select the programmed radio staons
BLUETOOTH
Note:
- Make sure your external device has Bluetooth acvated and is compable with the unit
- This unit does not require a password to connect to Bluetooth
1. Press the mode buon on the main unit or on the remote control to switch to the Bluetooth mode. The
icon “BT” will be displayed on the screen
2. From your external device, search for the unit as SY-X940DJ.
3. Once the device has searched for the unit, please press and connect to it.
4. Once the connecon has been successfully established, the unit will emit a small sound.
5. You can use the buons on the front panel to control the songs from the external device

BASS
Turn on the BASS knob on the main unit to adjust the bass up and down
TREBLE
Turn on the TREBLE knob on the main unit to adjust treble up and down
LINE IN
Use the connecon line to connect the external device
VOLUME
Turn on the VOLUME knob on the main unit to adjust the volume up and down
LED
LED flashing light buon, when playing music with flashing light, pressing this buon will allow you to turn the
flashing lights off, press it again to turn it on.

Unsupported formats:

TROUBLESHOOTING
To keep the warranty valid, never try to repair the system yourself.
If you encounter problems when using this apparatus, check the following points before requesng service.
No power
- Ensure that the AC power plug of the unit is connected properly
- Ensure that the power source is present and working.
No sound or poor sound
- Adjust the volume
- Disconnect the headphones
- Check that the speakers are connected correctly
- Check if the stripped speaker wires are clamped
Le and right sound outputs reversed
- Check the speaker connecons and the cable locaon
No response from the apparatus
- Disconnect and reconnect the AC power plug, then turn on the system again.
EQ
When playing music, press the EQ buon, there are six sound effects to choose between –
Rock/Pop/Classic/Jazz/Country/Normal
MODE
This buon is to switch between the different modes; there are 4 modes to select:
1. USB/SD mode
2. Line in mode
3. FM radio mode
4. Bluetooth mode
Back plate funcons
Power
Press the Power buon to switch the unit on or off. Warning: The power is not fully turned off when it is in standby
state. If the unit will not be used for a prolonged period, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
LINE IN FEATURE
Listen to your favourite music from your external audio devices such as an MP3 player or Discman.
1. Press the MODE buon on the main unit to switch to the LINE IN mode. The word “LINE” will be displayed
on the screen.
2. Connect the external device into the unit’s LINE IN jack with the line out cable.
3. Turn the power on of the external device and begin playback.
