Remote control does not work
- Before you press any funcon buon, first select the correct source with the remote control instead of the
main unit
- Reduce the distance between the remote control and the unit
- Insert the baery with its polaries (+/- signs) aligned as indicated
- Replace the baery
- Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the unit
Cannot display some files in the USB device
- The number of folders or filed in the USB device exceeds the max limit. This is not a malfuncon of the unit.
- The formats of these files are not supports
USB device not supported
- The USB device is incompable with the unit. Try another one.
Poor radio recepon
- Increase the distance between the unit and your TV or VCR
- Fully extend the FM antenna
Bluetooth does not connect with external device
- Verify that the external device is compable with A2DP
- Verify that the external device is within the transmission range
- Verify that the external device has already been paired with the unit.
- Verify if there is no other external device paired with the unit.

Thank you for having purchased the new Sytech 2.1 CH Mulmedia Speaker System SY-X940DJ. For a proper use of this
product, please read this instrucon manual carefully. In order to avoid damage or personal injuries, always follow the
safety instrucons given in this user manual.

HEARING SAFETY
Listen at a moderate volume
- Using headphone at a high volume can impair your hearing. This product can produce sounds in decibel ranges
that may cause hearing loss for a normal person, even for exposures which are less than 1 minute. The higher
decibel ranges are offered for those that may have hearing loss.
- Sound can be deceiving. Over me your hearing “comfort level” adapts to higher volumes of sound. So aer

Connect the unit to the power source
Cauon!
- Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the
back or the underside of the unit
- Risk of electric shock! When you unplug the AC power cord, always pull out the plug from the socket, never
unplug by pulling the cord.
- Before you connect the AC power cord, make sure that you have completed all other connecons
Connect the power cable to the wall socket:
Listen for reasonable periods
- Prolonged exposure to sound, even at “safe” levels, can cause hearing loss
- Be sure to use your equipment reasonable and take appropriate breaks
Be sure to observe the following guidelines when using your headphones
- Listen at reasonable volumes for reasonable periods of me
- Be careful not to adjust the volume as your hearing adapts
- Do not turn up the volume so high that you can’t hear your surroundings
- You should use cauon or temporarily disconnue use in potenally hazardous situaons. Do not use

Prepare the remote control
Cauon!
- Risk of explosion! Keep baeries away from heat, sunshine or fire. Never discard baeries in fire.
- Risk of decreased baery life! Never mix different brands or types of baeries.
- Risk of product damage! Where the remote control is not used for long periods, remove the baeries
- Danger of explosion! If the baery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
To use the remote control:
1. Take out the insulaon sheet from the remote control boom
2. Insert the insulaon sheet back when you are not using the remote control for prolonged periods.
Turn the unit on
1. Press the power buon on the main unit
2. Press the power buon of the remote control to switch on the standby mode
3. Press the same buon once again to return to normal mode
PLAYBACK
USB/SD playback
- Insert the USB plug of a USB device into the main USB socket on the main unit. If not please insert a SD card
into the SD slot on the main unit.
- Press the USB/SD buon to switch to the USB/SD source.
- Press the or key to select tracks
- Press the key to play or pause
Basic Playback operaons
You can control playback through the following operaons:
KEY F UNCTION
LED Press LED buon to open or close the flashing light
EQ Press EQ buon to change different sound effects
Press to PLAY/PAUSE and press against resume to play .
Note:
- Make sure that the USB storage device contains playable
audio contents for support formats.
- Important: The USB port is intended only for data transfer
only, other devices cannot be used with this USB connecon.
The use of USB extension cords is not recommended.
- The MAX memory size of USB/SD: 16GB
Adjusng the sound during playback
During playback, you may adjust the volume through the following operaons
KEY FUNCTION
VOL +/- To increase or decrease the volume
MUTE To mute/restore the sound
BASS +/- To turn on/off the dynamic bass/treble enhan cement
TREBLE +/- To turn on/off the dynamic bass/treble enhan cement
LISTEN TO THE RADIO
Tune FM radio staons
Note:
Make sure that you have connected and fully extended the supplied FM antenna
1. Press the MODE buon on the remote control or on the main unit to switch to the FM mode.
2. Press the SCAN buon to search and program radio staons automacally.
3. Press the buons to select the programmed radio staons
BLUETOOTH
Note:
- Make sure your external device has Bluetooth acvated and is compable with the unit
- This unit does not require a password to connect to Bluetooth
1. Press the mode buon on the main unit or on the remote control to switch to the Bluetooth mode. The
icon “BT” will be displayed on the screen
2. From your external device, search for the unit as SY-X940DJ.
3. Once the device has searched for the unit, please press and connect to it.
4. Once the connecon has been successfully established, the unit will emit a small sound.
5. You can use the buons on the front panel to control the songs from the external device

Turn on the TREBLE knob on the main unit to adjust treble up and down

Use the connecon line to connect the external device
VOLUME
Turn on the VOLUME knob on the main unit to adjust the volume up and down
LED
LED flashing light buon, when playing music with flashing light, pressing this buon will allow you to turn the
flashing lights off, press it again to turn it on.

TROUBLESHOOTING
To keep the warranty valid, never try to repair the system yourself.
If you encounter problems when using this apparatus, check the following points before requesng service.
No power
- Ensure that the AC power plug of the unit is connected properly
- Ensure that the power source is present and working.
No sound or poor sound
- Adjust the volume
- Disconnect the headphones
- Check that the speakers are connected correctly
- Check if the stripped speaker wires are clamped
Le and right sound outputs reversed
- Check the speaker connecons and the cable locaon
No response from the apparatus
- Disconnect and reconnect the AC power plug, then turn on the system again.
EQ
When playing music, press the EQ buon, there are six sound effects to choose between –
Rock/Pop/Classic/Jazz/Country/Normal
MODE
This buon is to switch between the different modes; there are 4 modes to select:
1. USB/SD mode
2. Line in mode
3. FM radio mode
4. Bluetooth mode
Back plate funcons
Power
Press the Power buon to switch the unit on or off. Warning: The power is not fully turned off when it is in standby
state. If the unit will not be used for a prolonged period, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
LINE IN FEATURE
Listen to your favourite music from your external audio devices such as an MP3 player or Discman.
1. Press the MODE buon on the main unit to switch to the LINE IN mode. The word “LINE” will be displayed
on the screen.
2. Connect the external device into the unit’s LINE IN jack with the line out cable.
3. Turn the power on of the external device and begin playback.
