Shimpo RK-2 Ringcone Popet is a potter's wheel designed and manufactured in Japan. It has a 300 mm (11 3/4") diameter wheel head and a 200 W (1/4 HP) motor that can be adjusted to rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise. The speed of the wheel head can be varied from 0 to 200 rpm (0 to 240 rpm for 60 cycle models). The Ringcone Drive System allows for precise adjustment of the power between the ring and the cone, enabling the user to customize the wheel's performance to their specific needs. The RK-2 also features a splash board to help keep the work area clean.
