ibiMaster 200
Waste Tray
• The waste tray is located under the machine, at the rear.
Empty the tray on a regular basis, to prevent clogging and
possible damage. (fig 8)
Comb and cover storage
• The ibiMaster 200 has built in storage for combs and
binding covers. Keep them stored in the machine so that
you do not waste time looking for suitable supplies with
which to bind. We recommend that you use IBICO or GBC
combs and covers, for excellent results.
Binding the document
Place the comb on the comb opener with the fingers
upwards. (fig 4)
Push the punch handle back, until the comb opens
sufficiently to be able to insert the document (fig 5)
Feed the document, front cover facing downwards, onto
the open comb fingers (fig 6)
Pull the punch handle towards you, until the comb is
closed once again (fig 7). The Presentation is now
complete. Remove the document by simply lifting it
upwards.

Determine the correct comb size
• For good results it is best to use a comb with a diameter
that is similar to the thickness of the document to be bound.
In order to determine the correct comb size, place the
collated document with its covers into the binder sizer
(fig 3).
• Slide the indicator across until it touches the document. It
will give you the measurement for the recommended comb
to use.
Punching the document
• Collate the document and insert the edge to be bound into
the punch throat, maximum 20 sheets at a time. Jog the
sheets until they are flush against the edge guide and the
back wall of the punch throat (fig 2, A).
• With the paper resting on the punching platform, pull the
punch handle towards you (fig 2, B). Then, return the punch
handle to its original position and remove the paper from the
punch throat.
• Repeat this operation until the whole document is punched.
• If punching PVC covers, insert no more than two covers at
a time as this material, in large quantities, could cause jams
or excessive wear.
Set up
• Unpack carefully and place the ibiMaster 200 on a flat
surface, ideally 74cm from the floor. When lifting the
machine, lift from the bottom. Do not carry the machine
by the handle.
Edge Guide adjustment
• Ensure that the Edge Guide (fig 1) is set to ‘A4’.
