The mounting bracket is intended to provide support for the Miller Flux Hopper and wire drive system. This unit can either be mounted in a fixed or movable slide. . The single mounting bracket is provided with M10 x 25 socket head cap hardware for at-
taching the bracket to a fixed arm or movable slide. If desired, 3/8 - 16 x 1.00 in. hardware
may be used. In this case, the threaded hole should be adjusted accordingly.

OPTION 1 To mount the single
mounting bracket to a fixed arm, align
the four holes on the bracket with the
threaded holes on the fixed arm. Se-
cure bracket by tightening the four
M10 x 25 screws and hardware with a
10mm Allen wrench. Torque hardware
to 30 ± 2 in-lb (40 ± 3 NM).
OPTION 2 To mount the single
mounting bracket to a cross slide,
align the four holes on the bracket with
the M10 threaded holes on the cross
slide. Secure bracket by tightening the
four M10 x 25 screws and hardware
with a 10mm Allen wrench. Torque
hardware to 30 ± 2 in-lb (40 ± 3 NM).
. When mounting the bracket to a
cross slide, be sure that the single
mounting bracket is mounted to a
vertical slide to allow for clear-
ance.

Before installing single mounting brack-
et, remove hardware, and discard flux
hopper mounting plate and the 1/4 - 20
x .75 in. screws. Retain insulator, and
other hardware. Place existing insulator
between flux hopper and single mount-
ing bracket. Align holes, and secure flux
hopper to single mounting bracket with
supplied 1/4 - 20 x 1.00 in. screws and
existing hardware. Torque screws to
7.5 ± 1 ft-lb (10 ± 1.5 NM).

9. Mounting A Wire Drive
! Turn Off wire drive and welding
power source power before
mounting wire drive.
. Secure single mounting bracket to
fixed arm, or cross slide (see Sec-
tion 7) before mounting wire drive
motor.

Remove and discard the four 1/4 -20
nuts from the wire drive motor. Retain
the insulator, and other hardware.
Place existing insulator between wire
drive motor and single mounting
bracket. Align holes and secure wire
drive motor to single mounting bracket
with existing 1/4 - 20 screws, wash-
ers, insulating washers, and insulating
spacers. Torque screws to 23 ± 2 ft-lb
(31 ± 3 NM).
