PREPARATION
Before using the product
1 Using the Integrated lter
Before using the product for the rst time
and when replacing the Integrated lter,
make sure to remove the plastic packaging
of the lter.
f This product consists 2 sets of lters
(upper and lower part) that are
composed of the same type.
K If the Filter replacement indicator blinks
with an alert sound when you operate
the product for the rst time, check if
you have removed the plastic packaging
of the lter.
2 Check the power connection
f Make sure to connect the power plug to
an 220 - 240 V electrical outlet.
(When the power is connected, the
product will become standby status.)
f Disconnect the power plug if you are
not going to use the product for long
period of time.
10
PREPARATION
f If you operate the air purier without
the lters, air purication performance
will decrease.
f New lter may smell strange when you
operate the product for the rst time
after purchasing it.
However, it will disappear naturally in
few days.
f Please close the windows and doors
when operating the product. However,
concentration level of carbon dioxide
may increase if you operate the product
for a long time with windows closed.
Therefore, ventilate the room regularly
between use. When lter is saturated
with just a weak odor, ventilating the
room will help get rid of saturated odor.
f Carbon monoxide (CO) is a major
harmful gas that cannot be ltered by
the air purier and it usually gets indoor
from outside.
f If you operate the product without
Integrated lter, sound of the air ow
can be abnormally loud. Make sure to
insert the Integrated lter before using
the product.
f Deodorization function of the air purier
is effective when air is penetrates
through the lter. Therefore when
there's excessive odor in your room,
ventilate the room rst and use the
air purier afterwards to eliminate
remaining odors for more effective
deodorization.
f If you operate the air purier during
cooking a food that generates strong
odor, lifetime of the Deodorization lter
will be shortened signicantly. Also if
the odor is too strong, Deodorization
lter may get saturated with the odor
and you may smell that odor when
you use the product after ventilating
the room. Use the air purier for
eliminating the remaining odor after
ventilating the room.
f The Filter replacement indicator will
light up when the product has reached
the maximum usages hours which
was initially programmed. Therefore
replacement cycle may vary depending
on the operating environment.

f When the air purier
operates, press the
[

level will be displayed for
10 seconds on the display.
However, ultrane

matter(PM2.5) level
will be displayed when
the level exceeds
50 /m
3
. When
ultrane particulate
matter(PM2.5) level
is below 50 /m
3
the
air purier will just
display the particulate
matter(PM10) level.
NOTE
Surrounding environment (near
construction site, streets, in a room
where it is being vacuumed, or near
fabric sofa etc.) could affect the
particulate matter(PM10)/ultrane
particulate matter(PM2.5) level.
• Particulate matter(PM10)/ultrane
particulate matter(PM2.5) level can
be high in a place such as veterinary,
clothing store, or a place with a fur rug,
high humidity, smoke or bugs.
If you use humidier, electric pressure
rice cooker, or spray, it may affect the
particulate matter (PM10) level/ultrane
particulate matter (PM2.5) and the level
may increase.
• Particulate matter(PM10)/ultrane
particulate matter(PM2.5) level could
be consistently high in a region where
yellow dust storm (or sand storm) occurs
or in a environment where outside
air can easily get it (such as near air
conditioning vents of the building,
ventilation system or a window).
Comprehensive Air-quality can be
affected by an air freshener, deodorant
or a detergent that causes odor.
If you use more than one air purier
in one room, products may display
the particulate matter(PM10)/ultrane
particulate matter(PM2.5) level
differently due to air circulation.
OPERATION
18
Level of the Comprehensive Air-quality
depends on particulate matter(PM10),
ultrane particulate matter(PM2.5)
and gas pollution level. Therefore,
comprehensive Air-quality level can be
displayed differently from particulate
matter(PM10) and ultrane particulate
matter(PM2.5) level.
Color of the Comprehensive Air-
quality indicator will be decided
based on worst status among
particulate matter(PM10), ultrane
particulate matter(PM2.5) and
gas pollution level. Which means
that even though particulate
matter(PM10) level is "Excellent",
Comprehensive Air-quality will be
"Lightly Polluted" if gas pollution
level is "Lightly Polluted".
K For example, Comprehensive Air-quality
will be "Lightly Polluted" (Yellow) when
the particulate matter(PM10) level is
at 10( /m
3
), and ultrane particulate
matter(PM2.5) level at 40( /m
3
), and
gas pollution level is 3.
